But yes, I know what you mean; the true feeling is of the spiritual meaning, not "PRESENT TIME!!!"
Thanks for reminding us all. Rep for you!
-Sydney Wow, that must be awesome getting to share a birthday with Jesus! I was born two days after (the 27th) I would have loved to have been born on Christmas, that alone would be a good enough birthday present for me for the rest of my life! My family always sets up a little nativity scene on the counter to keep the true meaning of Christmas in mind! (Though my little sister and I end up playing with the little figures... "oh no, dinosaur attack! Aaah! Run, shepherds!" Okay, sorry, getting too off-topic here. )
ANYWHO! Very good poem with a very good meaning! Merry (very early) Christmas! LOL, thank you so much, I'm glad you all like my poem. | | | 11-17-2009, 06:51 PM | #14 | Diabetes Awareness Gift Guru Join Date: May 2009 Posts: 7,979 | Re: Has everyone forgotten the true meaning of Christmas? That is a beautiful and true poem. I completley agree with you.
I love Christmas because there is always a good feeling in the air...people are happy... but most of all because Jesus was born. I always love to picture (in my mind) Jesus' birth....angels...mary...Joseph! How wonderful and glorous! Thanks for reminding everyone of the true meaning of Christmas. It sometimes makes me mad that people forget | | | 11-17-2009, 07:22 PM | #18 | ow! God is Gifted Join Date: Jan 2009 Posts: 1,475 | Re: Has everyone forgotten the true meaning of Christmas?
