Welcome to Thursday's DCT!
If you live in Australia, New Zealand, Canada or Northern Ireland, its Guy Fawkes Night tonight. (its aka Bonfire Night, Cracker Night, Fireworks Night)
The story behind this annual event was the failure of a conspiracy on this day in 1605 by a gentleman named Guy Fawkes, to blow up the Houses of Parliament in London.
In New Zealand, we can officially let fireworks off tonight. That being said they are only for sale at selected stores a few days before Guy Fawkes evening and they are not sold to minors. There are also public events/shows that are fully supervised.
Be safe, and keep pets indoors if you are involved with fireworks tonight. Wishing you a happy Thursday.

Its going good so far... don't plan on sleeping tonight because then i can never get up for school.
