Last night, my mom and I were coming home from the mall. It was very dark out, and we were going down a 'creepy' street. We slowed down at little, because we were coming to a stop sign at a turn. No one was there, so we never completely stopped. And THAT is when it happened. My mom and I believe our new car was intentionally shot by someone. Literally. Something, about the size of a medium sized bouncy ball smacked onto the frot of the windshield, right in front of my mom's face. It then bounced right in the middle of my face, on the windshield, and left a bad crack on it. My mom thought they shot me, but they thankfully didn't. I'm telling ya, I've never seen her drive off so fast in my life. She called my dad, and he didn't act a bit concerned, which made us really mad. We got home, and we figured out that the windshield will have to be replaced because of the crack. Thankfully, the insurance company will pay for it. But anyway, we went inside, and my dad was being really mean to my mom and I. I think he was really *****, which scared me even more. He kept saying that I was acting stupid, and he told me to go to my room. I didn't even do anything. I ran up to my room crying so hard. My mom came inside and said something to my dad, and he started yelling really loud. He told her things like he didn't want to deal with her anymore, that he was sick of her and me's attitude about it, and that he was leaving us. He got his brother, and his friend, and they left us there alone. My mom called the police to make a report, and they came to our house. They looked at the car, and they talked to my mom for awhile. While they were here, I got really scared and called my friend. She literally said she was almost going to have her mom take her over here to get me. But they didn't. When the police left, I just continued crying, until I fell asleep. Now, I am too afraid to go downstairs and say anything to my dad. I don't want to get yelled at. But I really want to know if the police found out anything last night. I am still so scared though. =[
