ARRG.... I burnt my fingers.PLEASE HELP.

Ahh I burnt my fingers by picking up a REALLY hot teacup.
I hurts so badly.
I ran icy cold water over my fingers and right now I'm holding an ice cube.
How in the world do I make the burns feel better?
PLEASE HELP.
IT HURTS SO BADLY.

I burn my fingers all time on my hair straightener.
It hurts for a little bit, but it does go away after about an hour at the latest.
Keep running cold water on it and ice cubes are a good idea. Perhaps an ice pack would be easier?

you could hold it under cold running water. or you could use the healing/cooling oinment

It's good you cooled it right away. I find that after that, sooner or later you just sort of have to let the pain peak and fizzle out. Like chatterbox said, it might take an hour or so. You could take something for the pain (if your parents say ok). Be sure and keep it clean. Sorry you got burned Honestly, I think that nothing hurts more than a burn.

ouch! if I were you, I'd put a few icecubes in a bowl then just put your fingers there if they hurt.

Burns do hurt.

The best advice I can give is to keep the burned spots cool. Use cooling ointment or burn ointment. It helps.

I have heard that you can put
-toothpaste
-aloe
-butter
- or salsa on it.

Aloe plants are wonderful. You did a great job by putting ice on it. Keep ice on it for at least 5 more minutes. Then apply one of the above to the burn. I know that salsa sounds weird, but they say the mild acids from tomatoes are good for burns. I hope you feel better soon!

Once I blew out a candle to move and I put my hand on top of it to move it and it used the oxygen from my hand to relight itself! I felt a sudden burst of heat, and upon removing my hand, I saw the flame! It was terrible. I applied a lot of pressure to it with my other hand and kept cold ice on it. It stopped hurting in a few hours, and went away completely in like 2 days. Hope this helps (=
