Back to the task at hand......
Cinderella room------ princess coach superbed, of course! Fantasy wallpaper or kingdom in the clouds wallpaper. Princess bed if you can't get the superbed. Fancy tables with rose vases on them. Or you could use the kingdom in the clouds walls to make a grand ballroom, without the bed. Then add the ballerina piano, some seating against the walls, and maybe add some Curio Shop royal red carpets.
Snow White room------- Charm Forest walls and floor would be great. If you can't get that, maybe the Curio Shop below decks wallpaper, or the WShop country theme wallpaper, or the country store wallpaper, along with light pine flooring, to look like the dwarves' cabin. Then add 7 beds from the WShop country theme (or however many you want), the antique stove and icebox, the antique toilet and pirate's washtub for a bathroom area, and tree stump side tables. Make a long dining table by putting 2 country home dining tables together, end to end. Add some potted elms from Fall Fest, if you have any. For an evil queen room, with the enchanted mirror, maybe the rare Medieval walls and floor.
Alice in Wonderland room------ another member made a room for this. She mixed and matched some dining tables and chairs, and had toy tea sets on top of them, for the Mad Hatter's tea party. You could make it very colorful, and add some of those weird Exclusive plants, like the sparkle plant, anything kinda unusual.
Pirates of the Caribbean room----- pirate theme.
Beauty and the Beast room------- not sure about the walls and floors. What I really remember from the movie are the talking objects, like Mrs. Potts, Chip, and Lumiere (toy tea set and some kind of candelabra). And the stained glass window in the Beast's castle. And when Belle and the Beast danced together.
You could try to make a Space Mountain ride room, indoors, with the Curio Shop rocketship wallpaper, and the single movie theater seats for passengers. Maybe have the movie strip rugs as the tracks?
Can't think of anything else right now. What other Disney things do you love? Maybe I can come up with more ideas if I know. The other thing I really remember about Disney World is the character topiaries that they had at the entrance. When other WI members have asked for help making theme parks with their roller coasters, I've always suggested topiaries and flowers for landscaping. You could also make an outdoor Disney room, with stone paths, flower beds, park benches, and topiaries, even without rides. | | | 10-19-2009, 12:00 PM | #6 | peppergirl11 Webkinz :) Join Date: Nov 2008 Posts: 3,363 | Re: What Items should i use for my Disney Park Themed Rooms? I was going to come back and appologize for not replying again... i caught a NASTY cold this weekend and didn't do much of anything (never touched the computer once Sunday!)... but I see AuntJenny gave you some AWESOME ideas! Another take on the Snow White idea could be to use the Doug jewel wallpaper & flooring to make the Dwarves mine. As for the Beauty & the Beast, I'd go with the mideval floor/wallpaper from the curio shop since the castle was usually very dark in that movie... and I'd add some bookshelves since she loved to read. Probably the ones from the wizard theme since they are dark.
Have fun, this sounds like a never-ending project with limitless posibilities!!! | | | | | Currently Active Users Viewing This Thread: 1 (0 members and 1 guests) | | | | Thread Tools | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off
