Updated trains made with NEW theme! 2nd panel. I will be away for a while and will update the front page panels when I get back (I am still working on this and there are more an more coming in, thank you). I am not leaving for good, but I won't be here as often. Please, keep posting the train ideas. I find the thrilling and I look forward to seeing ALL of your creative works! Besides...EVERYONE has different ideas and they are great creations that should be seen by everyone else. Thank you for your undersatnding and I will see you soon.
I am adding Derring Do's at the top because it is in an experimetal stage of development. Here is her AWESOME Great Train Wreck with the Story below. Great Train Wreck! ***** NEWS FLASH ! *****
The WTSB (Webkinz Transportation Safety Board) investigated a derailment at the Webkinz Vineyard tasting room today. The daily run of the Oenophile Express came to an abrupt halt today, when the engine missed the first tight turn, jumped the tracks, and caused a rupture of several casks of both Rhesusling and Marelow. Riders were somewhat shaken, but uninjured, while patrons of the tasting room watched the WTSB officials investigating the scene (although screens were erected to block their view.) Preliminary results indicate that the engineer, Capt. J. Harkness (sheep) might have been sampling his cargo, and fallen asleep. The investigation is ongoing. Photographs: 1) WTSB officials Snozzle Froth (velvet elephant), Jaromir Jagkinz (pinto) and Muffin Buffalo (buffalo) arrive, and secure the crash site. Barricades keep members of the public at a safe distance. 2) Officials ensure that the train passengers are all uninjured. Whisk Broom (purple monster) salutes their efforts. 3) The WTSB officials examine the scene, and the sleeping engineer. Snoz seemed particularly interested in the spilled vino. 4) Vineyard patrons Howard Now (brown cow) and Kahoutek (reindeer) watch the proceedings at the crash site, from a distance. The vineyard is a favorite setting for afternoon get-togethers in the Mild Manor.
Hi, Hmm made a suggestion when I started posting ideas for trains using themed objects. Let's see what we can come up with. I have reserved a space under mine for future use
Here ia a DELIGHTFULLY Whimsical Pirate themed Train on the Beach. Once she gets the BIG picture the way she would like it, i will switch it out, but for now, here is a preview.
Webberlily and I both wondered what the train would look like with BOTH Tinkerpup fridges winding away. I have to learn a bit more about animation to accomplish this, but, here is Webberlily's Nebraska Jones and Baby Arte on their NEXT GRAND adventure. Love the way the Nautical Sofas look from that back, How about you?
My good friends are all coming over to show us what they have come up with. Here is Bflyangel's AWESOME Train with a cost breakdown, so that you know how much you will need for this Train of Thought.
2 Lunch Locker Fridges = 1300
12 Colored Tiles = 780
2 Automotive Barriers = 500
Speedy Bed = 1200
Lava Rocks (Won at vacations)
Here is one that Ganesha07 has Crafted. I think it would make a fine Lullabye room as well. A Midnight Train to Dreamland. Thank you Ganesha07.
Webberlily (Our filli-in for COWS4YOU on the Asian thread) has contributed her Nebraska Jones and Baby Arte, they have been lucky enough to get the last two seats on a train out to their next adventure.
Here is the Second train, I made. I thought the colors of the Egyptian theme would blend REALLY well and incorporate with the Train, very nicely. The 4 dining chairs are set, facing each other and the Two vanities are reversed. I made a Station platform using the TV reversed, two Obelisks and Two lamps.
Here is my next train, I am starting to incorporate themes at this point. Trying different variations. This one uses the Atec fridges reversed and facing each other and 2 Car themed Tool Chest dressers. They work well because the Beveling on the top of the dressers make it look like a real rail car, the added plus is that it has casters on the bottom .
I will be posting more as I try my combinations. I guess the next thing I should do is an Item Cost break down. I will get back on that, but for now, enjoy the thread!
HMM has just given me permission to use this Pic of a Polar Express train. Thank you so much! I love this train and the room is PERFECT! Here is a link to Hmm's post A TRAIN of THOUGHT !! Updated trains made with NEW theme! 2nd panel.
Once Again, Hmm comes up with a novel concept. This is a Holiday train using the Christmas couches and two side tables. That is one 'sweet ride.' To truly appreciate Hmm's ability to decorate, Pease visit her thread. You won't regret it. here is that ink for more of her stunning creativity. http://www.webkinzinsider.com/forum/...9-t248702.html
This one is contributed by Mississippi Gal. I love the Circus Train!
Lollie has contributed as well and this is a MARVELOUS work. Da Vinci would be envious.
Next are two of mine, again. One is the suggested Golf Cart train. I found the carts alone didn't quite work, so I placed the GardenTractors in front. It looks a bit better that way.
For this next one, I have to say a SPECIAL thank you to mbeaser. She allowed me to borrow her daughter's Holiday wardrobe for my train. I hope she likes this room. It is especially made for her. I think Morning Town Ride is the best I can come up with. Here is that song, first. Picture after. It was a sweet lullaby my mother used to sing to the babies.
Train whistle blowing, makes a sleepy noise,
Underneath their blankets go all the girls and boys.
Heading from the station, out along the bay,
All bound for Morningtown, many miles away.
Sarah's at the engine, Tony rings the bell,
John swings the lantern to show that all is well.
Rocking, rolling, riding, out along the bay,
All bound for Morningtown, many miles away.
Maybe it is raining where our train will ride,
But all the little travelers are snug and warm inside.
Somewhere there is sunshine, somewhere there is day,
Somewhere there is Morningtown, many miles away.
This one belongs to Noloveintennis. Another Regal train that looks like it came from a tunnel and is just arriving atthe station to pick up passengers. Love the little skunk all by itself in the seemingly abandoned station house .
This one is contributed by Kinz Crazy and has been named already. Railway to Heaven. The Passegers are floating in the back on feathered dreams.
Mimzysmom made a DREAM room with all her Lava Lamps surrounding the Land of Nod station. The Rainbow tables makes beautiful track. All aboard the Rainbow Connection! Love the Use of the Pink Rugs in this one as a track. It Blends so nicely with the Drapes on the Wallpaper. Seeing that castle off in the distance makes this a Fairytale Dream. Thank you, Mimzysmom.
Miss Spots, I really enjoyed this train and station. Somewhere Over the Rainbow couldn't be a better room. I love the rainbows all connected in the star pattern. This is Such a well thought out piece. I hadn't realized we had more than one Wallpaper with Castles in Clouds.
EXOTERIC, Always you think outside the box, this one is SO cute and it is facing the opposite direction from everyone else's (Well, except Webberlily's dual perspective). I was wondering how in the world you could incorporate the TC2 Furnishings and you have done it really well! I think sometimes that's the key to a finished product, flip it...It may change the view and open up more possibilities. Thanks for this really neat Challenger Train. That new CSO Royal Red long runner is such a nice carpet for this, isn't it?
Has anyone tried the Winterfest rug in a Train scene, yet? Last edited by Dixiecup; 02-04-2009 at 07:26 PM.. Reason: adding contributions | | | 01-09-2009, 01:37 PM | #2 | Amaridy Wrongshu Gifted Join Date: Oct 2007 Posts: 28,923 | Re: A TRAIN of THOUGHT !! Making trains with the New Superbed :)
Well, it looks like I have to begin my second pane on this one. I am so enjoying all of these trains. I do so like Fantasy trains.
Footie was Extremely adventurous and tried out the New Cinam theme with the Railway dreams! Look at THIS cool train!!
Thank you Funsilly for this 5 ENGINE piece. I love the map of the world side tables and the gaming while you wait in the station.
Again, Hmm contributes another fanciful work: Meanwhile, Back at the Ship: Pirate Train Station
Opal, Mysterio, Winston and Johann have been so busy. They put the finishing touches on the Hold and then Opal worked on Mysterio's special project -- a Pirate Train Station, complete with Train! (The engine came as a gift from Santa, but Opal built the rest. It was fun!)
The Buccaneer Line goes from one end of the Island to the other. They're off to ride it to the other side of the Island, where Shanti and Ganpati are due to arrive with the Yellow Submarine! Hmm
Emscales has contributed a cloudy trail with her train. I think it may have taken hours for her to assemble so many webkinz in one place at the same time. Thank you Emscales.
I had missed one back a bit and even asked the contributor if they would should me another perspective of the train from an alternate view and it was done. I like the first idea better, but the Rails on the sides also have a unique look from the Wizards bed. Thank you Indigoseeker for this nice train.
It is another one that is affordable, too because you can buy the Wizard Beds in the W-Shop for 1200 KC regular price.
This little Winkin', Blinkin; and Nod with the Moon and Stars works so well with the colors of the Locomotive and Your little Wizard off to the side, waving Hello is just adds that perfect touch of whimsy! Thank you so much, Indigoseeker.
Rickyfox, who just happens to be a 'Train Wife' has shared her concepts. I like the one with the Barrels from the Pirates theme. What a wonderful freight train it makes. The Passenger train going in the opposite direction shows them all settled in for a comfortable ride. I think we may have to look at a Dining Car, soon. The one below, is also her contribution. (More in her post #101) The Circus Comes To Town Train. Using eStore items. It is bright, colorful and exciting. Thank you Rickyfox.
Albinomex has contributed another variation on the Polar Express...How about we call it the 'Arctic Express,' my friend As well as an 'Underwater-Over the Moon room. Thank you very much. I just took them to the front without asking and you can certainly tell me no, but I really would like to share them all
Underwater Over The Moon AKA Wizard's Hideaway
Thank you to Me2Me2 for this one. It is called Kinzville Express - Magical Forest Stop at Christmas time. This one does have an air of magic to it because of the Fairy Falls Wallpaper and Flooring. She tells me it is a work in progress and I can not imagine it being unfinished. It is very well set up and I do like those Green Lava Lamps as Track Reflectors.
I was wondering when Tj03 was going to come back with a train for us. It seems to have a dual theme to it. 'All Aboard' can mean Boarding for BOTH Vessel and Vehicle I think HMM might like this one. I have to wonder about the Pirates, though...Is it Blackbeard's Treasure or Black Bart's?
(BlackBeard<>Famous Pirate of High Seas OR Black Bart<>Famous Train Robber)
By the way, There are TWO Black Barts in History. One was a Pirate and the other a Train Robber!! Just a bit of a history lesson to go with this Last edited by Dixiecup; 02-04-2009 at 07:23 PM.. | | | 01-09-2009, 01:43 PM | #3 | I have bunches of Webkinz :) Join Date: Mar 2008 Posts: 345 | Re: A TRAIN of THOUGHT !!
