Re: Jungle Help! If you need to know what items can go underwater, you should check out the stickied thread, "Inside, Outside, Underwater, In a Tree," here in the decorating tips forum.
I don't have any underwater rooms, so I probably can't help there.
As for the diner........ if you don't like the diner theme stuff, like the walls, floors, and counters, you can use the Pop Star wallpaper and floor. Then you can pick a great color of counters, or even mix-and-match some bright colors of counters (lavender, lemon lime, tangerine). I would put the greasy grill, cat stove (though you don't really need 2 stoves), and a couple of Drinks 2 Go fridges against a wall, leave an empty row, then have a row of kitchen counters with diner stools. Just be sure to leave 1 space at the end of the counter, so a webbie can go behind the counter.
A medium room may be cramped, so add tables and chairs carefully. You can look at the theme preview for the diner, but it's a large room, so you won't have as much space. Definitely add the jukebox, also put the diner clock and window on the walls.
I have a diner, and I also put the Classic 50's poster, a pennant, and some gold records on the wall. In my bowling alley, I have a cheerleader swag and a football jersey on the wall, too. Whatever is your preference. I was going for like a teenager hangout look for both of those rooms, that's why I put that stuff on the walls.
I made my diner with the diner theme walls and counters, and my bowling alley with the Pop Star walls and floor and the mixed-and-matched colorful counters. I used the diner stools, booths and tables, and also the colorful round rugs on the floor of my bowling alley. It's very colorful. |
