Hey! I just found your thread and I think it's a fantasic and focused topic that is certainly going to help people set up their production or fun gardens!
Your maze diagrams are so helpful, and now in reading through the posts, your explanation of the numbers next to the diagram are perfect for planning the 'shopping trip'!
I'll be back to see what else (ideas) pop up on your great thread ! Enjoy a happy healthy day! Izzi | | | 03-12-2009, 01:50 PM | #22 | Gift Guru Join Date: Jan 2009 Posts: 2,795 | Re: Gardens Galore (new patterns added 3/11) Originally Posted by jms40

So far, so good, I haven't had any problems getting to the plots behind the flowers, knock on wood, and I have add to rake them already. I figured I'd just do the 2 flower and if they really give me a hard time, I'll just have to come up with a new idea. In WW, the garden picture is a just enough bigger in game that it hasn't been a problem yet. I did go for the bigger plants, pumpkin and watermelons since they seem easier to click on the big plant to rake or harvest. I let everyone know if I run into any problems. I'm keeping my fingers crossed. | | | 03-12-2009, 05:46 PM | #23 | Gift Guru Join Date: Jan 2009 Posts: 5,583 | Re: Gardens Galore (new patterns added 3/11) Welcome, Izzi!
Here are a few more diagrams I draft at lunch.

Those are great designs! I really like the first one second row. I don't have anything simlar to that. Thanks for the credit. Appreciate it! | | | 03-13-2009, 10:09 AM | #25 | 4geology Webkinz :) Join Date: Nov 2008 Posts: 302 | Re: Gardens Galore (new patterns added 3/12) Lotamoxie: Wowsers! it's getting increasingly difficult to choose from the growing selection! I'm going to pick one and start constructing another garden today due to needing more funds from the 'Farmer's Market'. It's now 6:56 AM here, I'm looking out the big west-facing house windows at the bright waning moon above the mountains as daybreak rounds the eastern mountains. This is a very Zen part of the day for me while DH sleeps in being such a night owl doing plume dispersion map programming on his computer. He consults back to the job he retired from and since they didn't backfill his position, they still need the 'institutional knowledge' packed away in his brain! Anyway, enjoy this great day with good safety and health!
And again, this thread is very fun! Izzi | | | 03-13-2009, 11:25 AM | #26 | Gift Guru Join Date: Jan 2009 Posts: 5,583 | Re: Gardens Galore (new patterns added 3/12) Thanks, Izzi! One reason I like to keep track of the number of plants per design is because I've been known to completely rearrange my gardens. I get to have different designs without the expense of purchasing more. I have five gardens right now.
---------- Lotamoxie added 1 Minutes and 27 Seconds later ---------- PaperButterfly, you're welcome! I like that one too. I was just playing around. Of course, the more I look at it the more ideas I get. Last edited by Lotamoxie; 03-13-2009 at 11:25 AM.. This first one is very simple but I like it. The Winterfest items were initially plopped there for storage but I have decided they look pretty there. I thought about trying to rearrange the plants into some pattern using some of the ideas on this thread but I think I like them as they are. I might add a few more plants to each row at some point but I haven't decided for sure.
This garden was just arranged in rows but I played with it this morning inspired by some of the ideas on this thread. There is one empty spot but I need to wait and see if I can garden around the tulip plots (I did my gardening this morning before I redecorated LOL!) so I am not going to buy another plant until I am sure if the tulips will work. I might also add another 2 plants in the top section inside the door but waiting on that. What do you all think? Actually if I add more plants, I want to do it just after a harvest so most of the plants will be ready to harvest at the same time.

As I look at my second garden more, I am thinking I might take out the beds and fill up the rest of the space with plants - repeating the sort of pattern I have in the lower part of the yard. What do you think? Yes or no for the beds? Last edited by jms40; 03-13-2009 at 12:02 PM.. That is really neat.
I've diagramed a few more gardens. This is a new addiction! I've added numbers to each garden. I've also added a few names. Any name suggestions for the others? | | | 03-13-2009, 02:49 PM | #29 | siroscar Webkinz :) Join Date: Jan 2008 Posts: 896 | Re: Gardens Galore (new patterns added 3/13) Wow!!!!!
