1) The number on the bottom right of each diagram is the number of plants in the design.
2) The green are the plants and the white the walkway needed.
3) The black are the door locations. | | | 03-11-2009, 08:23 AM | #12 | lpndutcher Webkinz :) Join Date: Sep 2008 Posts: 248 | Re: Gardens Galore (new patterns added 3/11) Absolutely Fabulous! 1) The number indicated the number of plants needed.
2) The yellow squares indicate where a bench or other item could be placed, if desired. The yellow squares are not included in the number count. | | | 03-11-2009, 02:02 PM | #14 | pana3 Gift Trainee Join Date: Feb 2009 Posts: 1,081 | Re: Gardens Galore (new patterns added 3/11) Wow cool gardens!!! Maybe I'll post mine later... | | | 03-11-2009, 02:25 PM | #15 | Gift Guru Join Date: Jan 2009 Posts: 2,795 | Re: Gardens Galore (new patterns added 3/11) Lotamoxie, so great to see the garden thread. Thanks for all the diagrams. The mazes are neat! I did something similar, but created just a 10 by 10 grid in microsoft word so I can print out copies and work on it when I don’t have a computer handy.
Suzy12356, love the checkboard idea. It gave me and idea for a garden. I’ll think I’ll have to work on it next. I’ll post some of my different designs, once I get them all uploaded. | | | 03-11-2009, 02:37 PM | #16 | Gift Guru Join Date: Jan 2009 Posts: 5,583 | Re: Gardens Galore (new patterns added 3/11) Quote: Suzy12356, love the checkboard idea. I liked it too, I'm thinking of diagraming some checkerboard ones. | | | 03-11-2009, 02:40 PM | #17 | A Splurb in Winter Webkinz :) Join Date: Jan 2009 Posts: 228 | Re: Gardens Galore (new patterns added 3/11) This is a super cool thread! I try to vary the garden design as much as possible, too, just because I hate looking at the same thing over and over. One thing I have done is to work around PSI or exclusive or TC outdoor only items such as the hedgehog topiary, the love frog pond and the suit topiaries from the TC2 collection rather than have them all in one "decorative" and non-functional garden.
I think I might just try some of your ideas as well. Thank you. Can't wait to see what other ideas people have. | | | 03-12-2009, 10:57 AM | #19 | Diabetes Awareness Gift Guru Join Date: Sep 2008 Posts: 11,885 | Re: Gardens Galore (new patterns added 3/11) Originally Posted by Bootses This is a super cool thread! I think I might just try some of your ideas as well. Thank you. Can't wait to see what other ideas people have. Please share pictures of your gardens Bootses! I like having decorative items as well but run into problems with not being able to access some of the garden plots. I would love to see what you have done to get around this.

I was just playing around with some garden mazes this morning after seeing your diagrams yesterday. Oh yay! I like the decorative items in there. The garden flowers are so pretty but they seem to really block the plots. I will have to try them again. Does it matter what is growing behind them as to how much they block the plot? I tried them in front of a row as you have done and couldn't access a plot behind the flowers. Last edited by jms40; 03-12-2009 at 10:57 AM..
