Default Egyptian Walls - but don't want an Egyptian theme

I love the Egyptian floors and walls and would like to make a room that looks good in it, with furniture that matches the gold. Was thinking of the elegant white couch but not sure if that would stand out too much. The reason I'm not doing an Egyptian theme is, that besides the Hippo fridge, I don't really care for the other Egyptian items, especially not considering the price. Was thinking of having it like a museum type deal, but it wouldn't look good with things hanging on the walls so that ideas out. Anybody have ideas?

If you want a museum-style room with Gold theme - for trophies, for example - you'll need some Cinema Ribbons (they are available from W-Shop) to create an "exposition line". You will also need a few solidly-looking pedestals or end tables to show the items off. My personal recommendation would be Medieval Side Table or (similar but cheaper) Wooden Pedestal, both available from CS, because dark wood looks realistic and goes really well with gold. If you have a particularly large item to present - like a statue - just skip the pedestal. If you need furniture for such room but don't want to hunt Rares, get a Mahogany set from W-Shop.

Do you trade gems with Doug the Dog? Some of the Doug prizes might look good in that room. Maybe make it kinda like a hidden tomb room, and put gold and gems in it? You could still get the hippo fridge. Also treasure chests and the side table from the pirate theme (side table has gold spilling out of it), and some wood crates. I think there's also a wall map from the pirate theme. Hanging a few things on the wall wouldn't look too bad.

Either white sofa would show up OK against the walls and floors.
