[ RULES ] Party Scavenger Hunts

Scavenger Hunts: Many of you have begun holding "scavenger hunts" as party games, and offering a prize for the winner. While the general rule at WI is that "Winnie" (the official contest hostess) is the only member allowed to hold contests for prizes, we have decided to allow party hosts to go ahead with these scavenger hunts - we know how much you all like games!

There are a couple of rules that must be followed though.

1. The only prizes allowed to be given to the scavenger hunt winners are food items from the w-shop. Recipes made with w-shop food items are also allowed. This rule is to help keep things fun for both the host and for the scavenger hunt winner -- the host will not go broke trying to give scavenger prizes, and the winner will not be expecting a big item and then upset if they don't get one. W-shop food or recipes ONLY.

2. Before your party begins, please post you scavenger hunt lists in your original post (click "modify" and then add it to your very first post). Make it big at the top and title it "SCAVENGER ITEMS TO FIND". This is so that your party goers will know what to look for, since you can't type to them in your house. Having everyone add it to their first original post makes it easy for people to know where to look; they don't have to search your whole thread for the list.

3. It's important that these rules are followed. If it becomes a problem (people arguing, getting upset about prizes, fighting, etc) then the scavenger hunts with prizes won't be allowed to happen anymore.
