My daughters decided they wanted Webkinz for Christmas a couple of years ago. I passed the hint along to my sister who gave them their first. I asked if I could play a few games on their accounts, earn them enough to buy a yard, problem was I also wanted to decorate! Withing a month I had to go out and buy my own. They have lost interest now but I sure haven't. I've now got 65 plus on my original account and just opened up a second account. Oh dear. | | | 10-29-2009, 06:54 PM | #12 | Webkinz :) Join Date: Sep 2009 Posts: 41 | Re: mom looking for other momz & dadz I have seven kids (6 girls, 1 boy) and five of them have webkinz. I always played on their accounts, but then they got me my own. It's really fun to have my own account because I can send them stuff and trade with them without going to the trading room. I have a LOT more KC than they do but I love to get them gifts (so glad Kinzpost is back up!).
It's a fun family thing for us because we all like different things about WW. My husband is a software engineer, so he's fascinated by the back end development (can I say back end here?) plus he's really good at Goober's Lab! One of my girls just wants to amass KC. Another loves searching for exclusive items and trading for stuff. Another just loves her little pet pug and wants to do nice things for her. I like the variety of interests! My teenager doesn't want an account but she loves webkinz games so she plays them and joins in the conversations about them.
We feel like we have a million pets, but we have 11, which is a lot less than some people! We also have yet to go deluxe because we have six accounts and the family deal is only five accounts. Who would get left out???
that's more about us than you ever hoped to learn, I'm sure!

It started with helping my two young girls with their accounts, but that only lasted so long, and now all three of us have accounts. It's fun being able to send gifts and such to them when they aren't sitting there seeing you send something.

my 2 kids have 19 (and counting ) each - and i "take care" of them
i would buy my own pets but my husband already thinks i am some sort of werido about it
got another problem though - my daughter is set about getting the pink spotted leopard, and i saw no justice store in NYC!!!
my mom is going there next month and she was going to ask for it ((
her bday is in dec. so it would have been perfect
i cant ebay it as my husband has forbade me purchasing any more kinz and is watching my visa statement

There are a lot of adults with and without kids who love WW. And yes there are grand parents who love to play WW too1
I wonder how I know all of this?? hmmm . . . The above fits me to a T.
Welcome to the best place to learn about WW, communicate with people who like the same things!
Rocks! | | | 11-04-2009, 11:16 PM | #17 | Webkinz :) Join Date: Mar 2009 Posts: 528 | Re: mom looking for other momz & dadz Hi, count me as one more. My youngest daughter had her account for almost a year and then got me and my oldest started. I was dealing with some empty nest issues, like taking care of her real pets isn't enough. Well they started me out on my birthday, and now almost 1 year later I am taking care of "the farm" with a dozen pets, and my 1st account with 11, and there are 4 more that need to be registered and at least 3 more that need to be purchased. Just brought home my 2nd Zum. I love to garden all winter, and my farm keeps me busy. When stressed out I do a lot of real and "pet" cooking too. This is my guilty pleasure and I don't mind telling people I am a ****, and I love it. My kids (both adults) play, and my oldest lives out of the country so some of our pets are international. Have fun and don't worry what others think. My kinz klips have started some real cool conversations in the check out line. | | | | | | Thread Tools | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off
