Welcome to the Semi-Finals of Ph’s WNTM Cycle 4!!

Rules

1. Please be nice- no rude comments, sore losers/winners, bad words, etc. If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all.

2. Be a good sport- I am willing to listen to suggestions and questions about our evaluations, but I will not hear you complain about your scores or anything else.

3. Kinzstyle is permitted, but please limit use to two pieces per round (dresses count as two pieces). Only the winner of the previous round may use Kinzstyle. With the exception of the Finale, when everyone can.

4. This is a new rule from my last seasons, so read carefully. I found out that I hate it when you use the Dress Your Pet window. DO NOT use it! Take pictures with interesting backgrounds. It makes your outfit pop, if you do it right.

5. Be original- no copying, using fashion shops here on WI, etc. We want to see what you can do.

Your assignment:
Post pictures of a time when you helped out with a charity, went to a hospital to cheer up the patients, read to preschoolers, etc. Anything that shows you being nice to someone else. Something to help us know that not only can you model, but that you have the heart and the time to help others.

Deadline: Saturday, October 17th, 2009 at 10:00 PM Eastern/Kinztime

Judging Critique- you will be judged on:

- the outfit
- description of the outfit
- your personality
- the background of picture (DO NOT use the Dress Your Pet window – too boring)
- your attitude to everyone here

Now that Biscuit is in the Top 4, she's getting accustomed to the fast life, not thinking much about people in need. The other day, she was sitting around the house, just watching TV, and she saw a commercial that changed her life.

"TOMS Shoes is a company that gives one pair of shoes to a Webkinz in need for each pair of shoes bought. One for one."

Biscuit thought to herself, Have I ever thought of giving back? They certainly have. I'm going to help them.

Since Biscuit is now becoming a local celebrity, people are very influenced by her. Biscuit went down to some local TV and radio stations to show them a commercial she recorded.

"TOMS Shoes is a company that gives one pair of shoes to a Webkinz in need for each pair of shoes bought. I don't know about you, but that sounds great to me. I'm hosting a shoe drive, like a bottle drive, tomorrow from 8:00 AM until 10:00 PM in the center of Kinzville Square. I'm collecting any old shoes you have lying around that are functional. All shoe donations will be given to Webkinz in need. Kinzcash donations are greatly appreciated and will be used to buy Toms Shoes for those in need. Thank you!"

That was aired on all local TV and radio stations. She looked around her apartment for shoes she hasn't worn in a long time, and brought them to the drive the next day. When she got to Kinzville Square at 7:00 to set up, there were already some amazing 'Kinz *** large bags of shoes, waiting! She couldn't wait until the end of the day, to count all of the shoes! People were still showing up with shoes at 11:30 PM, so she extended the drive until then. Eve though she'd been working all day and was very, very tired, she stayed up to count the shoes. The grand total was . . . 1,782 pairs of shoes and 1,205 Kinzcash! She was thrilled! She took everything home and went to bed, excited.

The next day, a Sunday, she got up, went to Church, and booked a flight to Santa Monica, California. Why? To meet with a famous Webkinz named Blake Mycoskie, the founder of TOMS Shoes! He had heard of her efforts to help Webkinz in need of shoes, and wanted to discuss things with her!

In about seven hours, she was waiting in the lobby of TOMS shoes! Blake Mycoskie himself walked out of his office and called her in to talk!

"I heard about your efforts to help those in need, and I'm very moved by you. I want you to come on our next mission. We're going to several third-world countries in Africa, and I want you to be there to distribute your shoes. I'm so glad you chose TOMS shoes to buy, so you're getting two pairs of shoes to give for one price. Sound good?"

"Oh my gosh, yes! I would love to go! Thank you a thousand times, Mr. Mycoskie! What do I need to do?"

"Well, we're leaving in, um, three hours. THREE HOURS?! Oh my gosh! Did you bring the shoes with you to Santa Monica?"

"Yes, I did!"

"Great. Here's your ticket, and I'll send someone to pick you up at your hotel in a few hours. Meanwhile, you should spend the Kinzcash."

"OK, I will. See you later!" Biscuit said as she left his office.

She bought lots of great shoes, 50 pairs, and put them in a suitcase to bring to Africa with her. The other shoes would be in Blake's possesion. A few hours later, as promised, someone came in a limo to the hotel to pick up her and her shoes. She got on the plane at 8:30 PM Pacific time and got to Zimbabwe, Africa, at 2:30 AM Pacific time. They went to their hotel and settled in and went to sleep, only to get up early the next morning. They got into a car and drove for a long time unitl they got to their destination.

The experience of handing out shoes to Webkinz in need was one that Biscuit would never, ever forget.

Making it to the Top 4 has made Daiyanissa a much more confident individual, but she still knows when to help others. Below is the story of a day in her life that started out ordinary, but became extraordinary when the fox realized that doing favors for others is a lot more significant than it seems.

"Breaking News!" Fred Rover announced in his booming voice to the public. "A Lil' Kinz Cocker Spaniel has been kidnapped!"

"Kidnapped?!" Daiyanissa Faith thought, her eyes bugging out. "That's terrible! I have to do something about this."
So, the Arctic Fox questioned a few Webkinz she knew well.
"Have you seen this puppy?" she asked Ms. Birdy, showing the penguin a flyer with the Lil' Kinz's picture printed on.

"I'm afraid not," replied Ms. Birdy dolefully. "You should ask Amanda Panda."
Daiyanissa's slate grey eyes looked dejected, but she rushed to the bear anyway.

"If you're looking for that Lil' Kinz Cocker Spaniel, you've come to the wrong place," said Amanda. "I have no idea where she is!"
Daiyanissa asked everyone she knew, but no one had a clue where the puppy went. Just when she was about to give up, she spotted a Lil' :cs: sniffeling on the sidewalk.

"What's wrong?" inquired Daiyanissa sympathetically.

"This Bulldog I didn't know took me away from my mum," the spaniel whimpered.
"What a horrible Bulldog! Don't worry, I'll find your mum."

Daiyanissa and the Lil' :cs: wandered around the city until they found a lone female Cocker Spaniel sniveling.

"Is this your daughter?" queried Daiyanissa.
"It is!" the canine beamed. "What can I do to repay you?"

"You don't need to pay me back," Daiyanissa twinkled. "Seeing you and your daughter reunited is a gift itself."
And thus that precious moment was preserved forever in Daiyanissa's heart and soul.
