print screen for contest

hello webkinz fans, I am trying to enter the new webkinz contest for the easter rabbit. it tells you to use the print screen button and add it to a file that you can find. I have the print screen button on my computer but it won't work can someone tell me how to use it.

If you are using a laptop then you probably have to press PRT SC and the FN key at the same time...

Sure! I'll help! but first you need to know that the contest doesn't start until saturday.

Ok, press the print screen button on your keyboard, and then go to the paint section on your computer. Paste the room to the paint screen, and cut out the room with the box option. copy that again, and move it to another paint screen. paste the room to the new paint screen, and then press the save button in one of the options at the top. Save it to your computer, and at the bottom of where you save it, it will say in what way to save it. Use the JIF, or whatever you're supposed to use, and save it to your computer. then you should be able to go to the contest page, and press the big W, and put the saved image onto the registration page. Fill out the rest of the page, and you should be good to go!

On my laptop, using the Ctrl button and Prnt Scrn at the same time usually works. If you use the Alt key instead, it will only take a picture of the active window instead of the whole screen, which can be very useful. If you are running windows vista, look for the Snipping Tool. (You can find it by going to the Start Menu and searching for Snipping, and I also think it is under accesories.) Using the snipping tool you can select which part of the screen you want to save as a picture, then save it by hitting the disc icon.
