Exotic Holiday Room Design Contest Entry Thread

Exotic Dream Destination!
This can be on the other side of the globe,
or in your own bedroom, use your imagination!

How to enter:

Create a Medium-size room with a vacation theme.

Decorate your room with current wShop items.
If you want, you can also add in up to two items not from the wShop.
Those items can't be from the eStore, and they can't be retired.

Pet clothing will not be counted in the design.

Please include a small, one sentence, description of the room.

See the FAQ in post #2 for additional clarification.

Winners:

Judging will be based on imaginative use of everyday items.
50 winners will be selected to receive currently available Exclusive items.
10 winners will be selected to received retired Exclusive items.


Rules:

This thread is for room entries only, no discussion on who has the best room please.
One entry per person, multiple entries will be disqualified.
Do not use another user's room design, must be an original.

Answers to questions I have received:

Help! I can't post my entry! What's wrong?

The contest opens tonight at Midnight. You're a little bit early.

Can I use Rare items in my room?

Yes, you can use up to two non-wShop items in your room.

Can I use Exclusive items in my room?

Yes, you can use up to two non-wShop items in your room.

Are Exclusive items considered current wShop items?

No, Exclusive items are not considered current wShop items. Only items that can be purchased in the wShop are considered current wShop items.

Can I donate items for the contest?

We have all of the prizes we need right now, but if you have something you would like to donate for a future contest, you can send it to WIGIFTZ. We appreciate your continued support.

Can I use items from the wShop Christmas or Halloween theme?

Good question. They're not currently available in the wShop, but they're also not retired, so you can use up to two. They will count as your two non-wShop items.

Is (insert design idea here) considered an Exotic Holiday?

If your Webkinz want to go on vacation there, then, yes, it can be. Remember, we're looking for your creativity. You get a one sentence description to explain to us what your Webkinz are doing.

What happens if someone puts items in their room that aren't allowed?

Any entry that doesn't follow the contest rules will not be judged.

Can Pet Specific Items be used in the design?

Yes, as long as they haven't been retired. They will count as your non-wShop items.

Can PSIs from Seasonal Webkinz be used in the design?

Yes, PSIs from Seasonal Webkinz (as long as they haven't been officially retired) can be used.

How do I upload my picture to submit my entry?

My entry is missing! What happened?

Entries that do not follow the rules of the contest will not be judged.

Can I dress my pet in (insert name of outfit here)?

Pet clothing will not be considered in the design. You can dress your pets any way you want.


And, one final word of advice. Don't spend too much time worrying about the two non-wShop items you're allowed to use. We want to see how creative you can be with every-day objects. Creative use of wShop items will be the most important part of the design.

My webkinz are at the volleyball courts in the Ocean Paradise Hotel in Cuba, where kinz can watch the game, sharpen their skills, or enjoy a cold drink from the vender (just pretend the soccer balls are volleyballs.)

Savannah is the tour guide here at Tiny World where the Webkinz are vacationing this year, because there are so many things to do including: climbing the big ladder to talk to the largest Webkinz EVER and seeing her creation of a house sized sand castle, plus viewing an exact replica of the Big Kinz Ben, and the houses of the citizens of Tiny Land, plus a construction site, a giant billboard, a drive in theater, and a tiny amusement park complete with a Whirl-and-Twirl and an Over the Moon Rollercoaster!
