I really hope some one will answer my question. Thank you. I believe that the music not is just them saying that they are dancing and playing. When mine show the music note they start to dance and prance around, so that is wh at I think it is. It is definutly not asking fro anything so no worries there. __________________ Happy Easter Click for my GE | | | 11-10-2009, 10:08 PM | #292 | Call me Hummingbird Webkinz :) Join Date: Oct 2009 Posts: 2,561 | Re: Zumwhere Has Big Changes I believe I will go to the mall on Thursday to pick up a Zumbuddy. They're so cute, and I'm really glad they work the proper way now. I think I'll buy the pink one. | | | 11-10-2009, 11:30 PM | #293 | Lil Kinz Join Date: Sep 2009 Posts: 6 | Re: Zumwhere Has Big Changes I have been getting a few more Zummies but it takes a lot of time playing with your Zumbuddie to accumulate enough zummies to buy anything. It also takes a lot of Kinzcash to purchase all the food and toys they want.
I'm not sure if they are worth the effort or money..................? | | | 11-10-2009, 11:39 PM | #294 | Webkinz :) Join Date: May 2009 Posts: 319 | Re: Zumwhere Has Big Changes I absolutely love the zumbuddies and have purchased four of them. A note of caution though...I bought them last Saturday and have already used about 12,000 in kinz cash to feed and buy toys. They have the potential to deplete your hard earned kinz cash. __________________ We have dancing Hippos.

Sometimes their happiness drops from 3-10 points for no reason at all.
I have been doing some calculating. Playing with your Zums is a good way to turn your kinzcash into zummies at the rate of about 20 Kinzcash per zummie. So, if you get 4 zummies from your Zum, you have spent an average of approximately 80 Kinzcash on food and toys to get those zummies. I am sure that you can do some calculating yourselves. Record how many zummies you have before you play. Record the Kinzcash you spent. When you are done playing, calculate the difference in zummies. Take the total Kinzcash you spent and divide it by the number of zummies that you made. This will tell you how much Kinzcash it cost you per zummie (zummy?).
There is no way to get a party with this new programming. If you are having parties for your Zums, you most likely still have old files in your cache/cookies. On Firefox, I had the old files so I was able to get 5 Zums in a room and then get their happiness for 4 of the Zums up to 100%. The other Zum was at 99%. I logged off of Firefox (because there was no way for me to get zummies for parties--I am not sure why, I just haven't been able to since they changed the programming). I logged onto Internet Explorer where I have the new files for the programming and I went to the room with the 5 Zums. They were still at 100% for 4 of them and 99% for the 5th. I put one of the 100% Zums into another room and then I switched to that room. He threw a party (with the balloons and confetti flying), but he did not dance and he did not award any zummies. I went back to the other room (now with 4 Zums in it) and the Zums never asked for anything. So I started giving them toys and food in the room and they started playing and eating. The Zum at 99% finally asked for a toy, which I gave him. The happiness level never went up. A few minutes later all of the Zums' happiness levels decreased by 3 points. So now they were at 96%, 97%, 97%, 97%. Their happiness never increased when they started asking for toys and food (and I graciously gave it to them). One of the Zums' happiness dropped 10 points followed by another 5 points for no reason at all. That Zum went down to 71% pretty quickly. Once the Zums' happiness levels were lower than 84%, then they started increasing one point then dropping 3-5 points. One step forward, 3-5 steps back, etc. This is just crazy .
If you play just for the fun of it and don't look at the happiness %, then you will be much happier playing with them. They ask for things more often when they are at a lower happiness level, therefore you can be awarded more zummies for giving them things since they are asking for them more often.
I don't like the fact that their happiness doesn't increase when I give them things they don't ask for (and they take them and play with them and eat the food I give them). It is always "gimme, gimme, gimme" and I might be nice to you as my owner, or I might snarl at you and make us both sad! I have had the Zums ask me for food, which I give them, only to have them get the "NO" circle above their heads, snarl at me and drop their happiness (and mine!).
Ganz needs to get rid of the "gimme, gimme, gimme" attitude of the Zums and let them be happy with us interacting with them at our choosing, not always at their choosing. (Just my opinion)
I have been doing some calculating too...since you get multiple toys and food when you buy them the average price per item is approximatly $6. Take the amount spent on food and toys divide it by the number of items equals like I said about $6 per item.
That being said...to buy all the Peeking Zum furniture it will cost $2,190 - the Lazy Zum furniture 2,352 - the Giggly Zum 2,280
Now for the scary part...The telescope that did NOTHING cost them 889 Zummies for a total of $5,334 - it took along time to get that much kinzcash.
The rainbow Hologram someone posted - 989 Zummies - $5,934
The Car 756 - 4,536
Music box that I would like to have 809 - $4,854
Now take the number of zummies you get per time you play and see how long it will take you
to get the item you would like to have.
Now my math maybe a little off since I was doing the calculating while taking care of my DEMANDING little Darling.
And remember folks this was a FIX by Ganz. In 50mins I gave her 46 toys at a cost of 276.57kc; 12 foods - unknown cost (I bought them the day before) I earned 22/26/26/10 zummies and never got her happiness over 81%. At 6:59pm she was @81%. She finished playing with a toy and @ 7pm she dropped to 75%. | | | 11-11-2009, 12:55 PM | #297 | Lil Kinz Join Date: Sep 2009 Posts: 3 | Re: Zumwhere Has Big Changes Yay! I think it is silly how uneven the zummioes are. Just check out the pics here- this is from just now from my account and my sons ( i play with his account while he is at school) You would think they would even out after a while- but nope __________________ Happy Easter Click for my GE | | | 11-11-2009, 01:28 PM | #299 | Gifted Join Date: Oct 2008 Posts: 1,244 | Re: Zumwhere Has Big Changes Originally Posted by tweetibyrd I am postingb this on here as well as the The Guide to Zummbuddies thread:

Last night after buying some furniture I had 187 purple zummies and 0 blue ones. | | | 11-11-2009, 01:41 PM | #300 | call me Tweets Gifted Join Date: Sep 2009 Posts: 2,004 | Re: Zumwhere Has Big Changes yea, it's crazy frustrating, but my Hubbsters says if it were easy it woudl be boring ( true) but we have to remember this is for children and my 8 year old has a low frustration threashold and this hits that line hard. This is the main reason I play his account while he is at school- so he doesn't get as frustrated with how long it takes to get the zummies needed to get the things he wants. __________________ Happy Easter Click for my GE | | | | | | Thread Tools | | | Display Modes | Rate This Thread | Linear Mode | | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off
