Yeah, I was just thinking that. I looked up the 12 months and their Gems and Turquoise is DEFINITELY the Gem. Maybe Ganz made a mistake?

Well first of all december can be Zircon, That's what my mom said. There are two or even more birthstones for december, because my birthday is in december too. As we can see ganz picked Zircon because its more popular. P.S I am so excited that the december pet was Not a beagle. i'm tired with beagles, labs are ok, and cheeky dogs are good.

While I have not purchased any of the monthly offered birthstone pets, I think Ganz should have announced that each month's birthstone pet was going to be a specific breed of pets with a different color coat, that way their customer base would be a tad more welcoming.
I am sure to be the minority with this one: I LOVE the PSI, for the simple reason that it reminds me of my grandmother's divan in her breezeway! IMHO - the PSF could have been a fun interactive toy for one of the dinos line

Yes, it is turquoise. I would know because my sister's birthstone is that too....I just looked zircon up. Apparently turquoise isn't technically a "gem", it's more of a "stone", so jewelers use zircon for birthstones. I think Ganz should stop with the dogs already! Here's an idea: how about a zircon zebra? The zircon color is really beautiful, and it would look great on a zebra! Well, on the bright side, it's not another Turquoise Terrier....
