April 2010 Birthstone Pet is the Diamond Doggy

I'm not a huge fan of this pet. First of all, the title. Diamond Doggie??? That makes it sound like a pet for a preschooler. The pet is ok, but they really should have done a different stone. I know that the stone for april is a diamond, but diamonds are pretty much clear, and a clear pet would be well, ugly. They did the best they could, but the color is really dull. The PSI is very pretty and could go in pretty much any room because of the color. I want to know if it plays music like the sweetheart symphony piano. It should, if not, then what's the point? The food is cool, I'll try to get it through trade, though it kind of looks like Mr. Moo's ice cream. It looks just like it actually, just different colors. They really should make it more different, it makes it seem less special. All in all, not the best pet, but once I find out about the piano i may change my mind. Post if you know!

All Ganz had to do was make it multi colored like the diamonds in Artie's mine with a W diamond on him and the dog would've been AWESOME

All right, I've mostly gotten over my original angryness, so here's my "review":

Pet-- 1 out of 10. The color is ugly, and the pet is just... well, ugly. If they used the same design they used for the Pearl Pup, only a slightly blue-white color, I'd be in love with it. I'd love it even more if it had the design of the Love Puppy/Clover Puppy. That overall "base" pet is so cute. Just that in solid white... I'd buy it.

PSI-- 10 out of 10! I might either hit the trading rooms, or have to buy a few of these pets... I just love the PSI. So beautiful! I love the piano! It's not like the Sweetheart Symphony Piano, which had just WAY too much going on with it. It's simple, clean, and sparkly. Absolutely wonderful.

PSF-- 5 out of 10. Neutral on this one. I mean, it's not HORRIBLE, but it certainly could've been better. Dainty Diamond Danishes or something... something pretty. I don't like the whiteness of the diamonds with the pinkness of the ice cream, the blue-ness of whatever's on top, and the tan-ness of the cone. Just not a very appetizing color combination for me. Perhaps something more like the Candied Opals of the Opal Pup...

Overall-- Eh. PSI is the best I've ever seen in the history of WW (not kidding you here), PSF is okay-ish, and the Pet is just plain ugly.

Will I buy it? Yeah, of course I will. It's my birthstone pet, and the PSI, as I said, is just too beautiful to resist.

LOVE the PSI but it doesn't look worth the eStore points to me... not saying I even have enough to buy the thing anyways. I think they should let the dog theme go, how about a cat or bird or something?

Well, that should actually be the last of the dogs, shouldn't it? Birthstone pets began last year in May. The Emerald Lab was the first one Hot on the Heels of the beginning of Deluxe. I wonder if they plan to change this to NEW birthstone pets of another variety?

The pet is okay... it's just like the other ones. Ganz needs to liven up and sure think of a cuter dog. The PSI... FABULOUS!!! I love pianos... if I owned a piano like that, I'd play it every single minute of my free time. It's absolutely beautiful!!!

Pet Itself: EW! You'd think that for the most beautiful jewel, they could at least make a beautiful dog, if they're so set on dogs.
