I think we've all done that at some time or another. One day a few weeks ago I was at the computer practically all day at another site. I was so wrapped up in the discussion there that I completely forgot to check
WI for the rare of the day until after the rare was already well past, and it was the medieval Curtains, which I wanted another set of. This was especially embarrassing as they were being offered at something like 8pm. You'd
think I'd have checked
WI before then!

It was even stupider, because I had been doing my Webkinz dailies all day in between avidly following this linguistics blog.
Well, this stuff will always be offered again sooner or later. And we can hope for sooner rather than later. At least now you have the information you need and you won't be making a lat-minute decision whether to buy or not next time. I find those sort of decisions stressful.
It would be kind of neat to have one place where detailed information was gathered about all the Rares: prices, screenshots so we can see size and colors, info on whether and how they are animated, which environments they can be placed in, and suggestions from members as to how they have used the items.
It would help people make decisions in advance about whether or not they are likely to want the item rather than having to ask about the Rare item only hours before it goes up for sale and just hoping that someone sees the post and answers in time.
