I saved up 40,000kc but don't have the deluxe account so I couldn't buy it
It has taken forever, and a lot of spare time.
This is hard to do, but stop spending. Put your room decorating on hold, stop taking vacations, stop going to the academy. (my pets were happy they didn't have to keep going to school!)
With gardens, employment office, wishing well, wheel of wow, gem hunt, star search, I average 300-400kc a day. so in 1 week it's about: 2800 a week. (yeah ... not much kinzcash) but this summer all I've had time for are dailies and I haven't been spending so slowly it's been accumulating. You can also go through your house and dock and sell all unnecessary food items, clothing items, and furniture. (make sure it's all wshop though so you can buy it back later! don't sell something you'll regret)
If I have some spare time and I've done all the dailies and such, I play in the tournament arena. You get kc from the game, and up to 50kc if you win the tournament. (free kc for playing well!)
PvP whizkinz averages 100kc a game. Quizzy's is also good.
If you don't mind lengthier games, zingoz pop, bamboo break and operation gumball can yield a lot of money. (plus you have a chance of winning a trophy!)
oh, if you're rich you can buy a ton of webbies
it's frustrating, I think they should award more kc than they do. It does take forever to save up that much kc though! | | | 08-04-2009, 05:03 PM | #23 | Webkinz :) Join Date: Mar 2008 Posts: 2,806 | Re: For those who got the movie screen.... My best way to get KC, apart from gardening, is doing jobs at the employment office twice daily. I do it once in the morning, and once in the evening. Initially I did flooring assistant, which pays 250 KC on level three, and I was able to pass every time, but then I started Kinzpost, which is harder, and did take me a while to learn to do on level 3, but now I pass probably 90% of the time. It pays 350 KC each time, so that's 700 every day. Combine that with the rest of the dailies, I'm getting around 1000 KC every day, apart from gardens.
I'm not sure if this was mentioned yet, but don't forget to do your surveys twice a week - that's an easy 50 KC every time.
Along with the bonus wishing well, once a week you can also get a bonus "I love my Webkinz" in the Daily Kinzcare on Sunday night/Monday morning between midnight and 2:00 am, with an extra 45 KC and food item.
Keep on trying and saving money! You'll get there eventually. | | | 08-04-2009, 06:25 PM | #24 | ow I Love Being Gifted Join Date: Sep 2008 Posts: 1,214 | Re: For those who got the movie screen.... LisaMM2001, I just wanted to add in case someone else didn't. If you do the garden to sell produce to make money, remember that you DO NOT have to water each plant!! It will say it needs water, but I have tons of gardens and never water them. they grow perfectly without water. Just keep the weeds out everyday and they will harvest when its time. I have found the carrots to be the best. Some people will say the strawberries are, but the weeds are harder to see in them, the carrots are by far the easiest and you make just about the same amount of money. | | | 08-04-2009, 07:58 PM | #25 | Happy Thanksgiving! I've spent 7 months watering til I found out a few weeks ago that you don't need to. I can't even believe how much time I wasted watering. Oh, I agree with you about the carrots. That is the easiest. I HATE corn. It is so hard to take care of when the stalks get high. | | | 08-05-2009, 11:50 AM | #26 | Soapie0 Webkinz :) Join Date: Jul 2009 Posts: 64 | Re: For those who got the movie screen.... July 31? Where was I - under a rock?? And I became a deluxe member in June - I will have to pay closer attention. You said there was a 14 hour advance notice - where was this notice? I want to be sure and see it next time. I could just cry! I bought a little room where I set up the concession stands and it leads into the movie theater. Just no movie screen.
Also, I LOVE my garden - and take excellent care of it every day - explain how this no watering system works. If I don't water, won't the plants shrivel up and die? How can you not water? | | | 08-05-2009, 12:02 PM | #27 | uv U! Join Date: Jul 2008 Posts: 18,178 | Re: For those who got the movie screen.... Originally Posted by Soapie0 July 31? Colossal Screen was offered on July 31, but only on the Deluxe accounts. So for those who have just a regular account, they wouldn't see it in their Curio Shop. You had Deluxe, so you truly missed it... But this is not a Once-In-A Lifetime offer! it's a Rare, and it will come back, sooner or later, in either kind of account. It's all RANDOM. I'm not worried, I can wait.
The Asian time zone is 14 hours ahead of the North American one where I assume you are.
We track the Asian Curio Shop offerings and announce them in the box at the top of each page. Just hover your mouse over the items for their name, and over the times for conversion to your time zone. Check out the first posts in both the Asian thread, and the American/European thread, they are blue stickied threads at the top of the Rares & CSO Items forum. Feel free to post there, and join in the fun of waiting on Arte.
Gardens don't really need watering because... it rains every night in WW?? that's the theory. If you don't water, you'll have to weed more often, but with a large garden it's still less work. Either way, whatever you like best, both work well. | | | 08-05-2009, 12:15 PM | #28 | onderful Friend's Gift Guru Join Date: Mar 2008 Posts: 22,176 | Re: For those who got the movie screen.... There is alot of great info on here thanks !! | | | 08-05-2009, 04:17 PM | #29 | Soapie0 Webkinz :) Join Date: Jul 2009 Posts: 64 | Thanks Webberlily! Well, I suppose the snow all winter long didn't hurt my crops. I'll give it a shot. I only have a medium garden - about 15 plants. So, either way it's not a huge chore, but an interesting experiment.
Oh, what a clever idea to think of monitoring Asian time to let us know. As you can tell I'm new around here. I'll have to check WI first thing every day! Thanks for the tip! | | | 08-08-2009, 01:34 PM | #30 | Jesus is the reason Gift Guru Join Date: Feb 2008 Posts: 10,501 | Re: For those who got the movie screen.... Well I have about 30 Webkinz, and that's mainly how I fund my account. I also always am trying to get 1000 KC Coins whenever I get the chance and I also buy a lot of oak pools on my spare accounts, send them to mine, and then sell them back to the W Shop for a profit. I know the games don't give you much, but some of them are a lot of fun so that's another way. I had gardens before and I never found it to be very rewarding in the KC department. I mean sure it DOES give you KC but not as much as you work for it. | | | | | | Currently Active Users Viewing This Thread: 1 (0 members and 1 guests) | | | | Thread Tools | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off
