Rare item not available at listed time

Does anyone know why a rare item doesn't show up at the right time? Arte will hold up his sign saying the item will be available at 5 pm, and then there is no rare item. I go back and ask about rare items, and he says "You came at the right time. I have a rare item right now." Yet there still is no rare item for sale!

The 5pm rare is available on Deluxe accounts only. Unfortunately, Ganz hasn't programmed Arte so he knows the difference. Arte has been telling "regular" account holders about rares they won't be able to buy since June 2009. The only way to know if a rare is regular or not in advance is to check one of the fan sites, like WI, that posts the info. Check out the top of the page for our Rare Report.
