Jumpin Jukebox

Is here again at long last. I know people were wondering about it recently.

I have some questions about it.

Does it play music or is it animated in any way? (such as the bubbles in the colored fluid on the front moving)

Is it just brightly colored, or does it actually seem to glow as if the front of it were lit from within like a real jukebox?

Would the colors of the jukebox be compatible with the bright and shiny new gem stuff that you can get from Doug the Dog? Would the jukebox look out of place in a room with Gem Wallpaper and Flooring decorated with bunches of other Doug the Dog gem items?

does not play music, but bubbles do move around it yes.

this jukebox goes with many decor, I would pick it up. I have one in a bowling alley, one in a modern living room and it looks great in both settings.

Thanks for the info. I was pretty sure I had heard that it ddn't make music, but it hadn't occurred to me before to ask if the little bubbles were animated. Glad to know that they are. So many of the Rare items have those nice little touches that make them worth the extra money. I've rarely been disappointed buying a Rare, even the non-animated ones.

If it goes that well with so many different decors, I may very well follow your advice and pick one up. Maybe even one on each account. I'll have to take a look at the state of my finances first. (I know I have the money to buy it, but there is always the question of whether that will leave me with enough money for other rares from the themes I am collecting if they come along soon.)

I like this one much better than the Robin's PSi which I can't turn off fast enough. Or, come to think of it, the Canary's since they changed the music!

Sometimes NOT having the music play is a good thing. This is a cute one!

Edit: Um... I had not remembered any bubbles or animation, and just checked. Didn't see any with mine? Am I missing something?

Derring do, they are very small teensy little bubbles going round the design of the jukebox. Definitely not a traffic-stopper.

I admit even after a year of collecting webkinz I am still new at this. This is the first time I have seen this item offered. I was concerned it would be retired before I ever even saw one!

Ohhh, thanks Webberlilly, that was the hint I needed. If you aren't zoomed in, you'd definitely miss it (and even then...) LOL. Can't remember how long I've had this, and not known that. Kudos to you.

It is a very cool item, however, and I'm fond of my pair. One is in the exercise room, and one is, er, still in storage, awaiting just the right spot.

I can't speak to the Canary's PSI, but I gave my daughter a Robin for her birthday. Whew! That is some truly annoying music. I keep having to stop myself from asking her to turn it it off.

The Bobbin' Robbin Jukebox certainly looks nice, though.
