Default I am ready for a new C-Shop theme! How about you? What could it be?!

I know it's asking a lot, but the Aztec theme (lovely as it is) is getting old now, and while I still need a few pieces, I would love to have a new Curio Shop theme to start collecting as well!

We have a lot of Cultural/Historic themes like the Asian (WS), the Aztec, Medieval and the Ancient Civilizations (my fave),but....I think a Spanish theme would be awsome ... or a theme based on the Philipino Islands with all their lovely coloured marble, or an Hawiian theme with beautiful landscaped wallpaper and flooring.

Where else can we go with this?! Any Ideas?!

Any of those ideas would be great! I am ready for a new theme too. I have had enough money saved for the movie screen for over a month, but there hasn't been a sign of it.
I have to spend my money on something!

Hi, Butterflies! I really like the idea of a Hawaiian theme! Kind of like a croww between the Jungle and the Beach themes! It would be colorful!!!

I was never really into the themes. I didn't like the look of any of them...I'd love to see a new one!

I think a more modern theme is what we need. Like..something really cool looking, with bright colors. Maybe a 70's theme?

Now that's an awsome idea that never even remotely occurred to me, and I've been racking my brains for an idea for a new rare theme that I would enjoy ever since this thread first showed up a couple days ago.

Make it a '60's/'70's theme, heavily weighted towards "hippie," and I could go for it. That would definitely be fun. Groovy, even.

Tie dye. Some bead curtains. Anyone else got ideas for items that ought to be included? Include some disco culture in addition to the hippie?

Old fashioned how?

Colonial?
Regency?
Antebellum South?
Victorian?
Edwardian?

Any of those would have a lot of potential. Were you looking for something more formal and elegant or something more everyday from an earlier era?

You could go as far back as the Italian Renaissance. (Or anyone else's Renaissance. The Italian's just had theirs first.)

Tudor era might be interesting. I could definitely find a lot of uses for half-timbered wallpaper and some sort of compatible flooring.

What about Steampunk? That's old-fashioned looking, though it's maybe not such a hot idea considering that there is already the Scientific Theme.

Have I just shot enough ideas at you quickly enough that your head is spinning. I have that tendency. Sorry.

But I have to admit that I've been thinking old fashioned, too -- ever since they came out with that preview of the new e-store room theme (Which I will not be buying with real money, as beautiful as I think it is.) The theme was that delicate blue-and-white French Provincial. A lot of people in the discussion thread were saying that it would have made a great rare theme. I'd have collected it as a rare.

I'll agree with you about a Spanish theme being a good idea. Did you have a particular era in mind?

I've never really seen much in the way of Filipino art and architecture. Now I'm going to have to go off and find out what it's like. It sounds nice.

I'll reserve judgment on the idea of a Hawaiian theme until I hear or see more ideas about it. The W-Shop already had the Jungle and Beach themes, but if a Hawaiian theme were properly and thoroughly done up -- to Rare standards, it could really be something worth having.

I'd like a Tuscan sorta theme! Tuscany has awesome looking buildings! Although a Hawaiian theme sounds cool too.
