Tisk tisk ganz...Will you step into reality here!? I have been collecting the egypt theme for quite some while and it is really expensive. I'm saving up for a big movie screen (I currently have 60K KC) But the rare items are WAYYYYYYYYYYYYY overpriced! Get a grip, Ganz! Jeez -_-

Star Child, I'm sorry you're going through a frustrating time with WW, hopefully your luck has gotten better since the time you posted this initially (I know my sister and I both have times where it's , "20 KC? Again??" on the WOW too many days in a row). In regards to being a Deluxe member that really won't help in regards to buying from Arte at the Curio Shop. The two really aren't related at all. The Deluxe gets you the chance to buy an extra but that's about it, so you're not missing anything there.

I seems like with the Curio Rare Themes they keep making them more expensive and more elaborate. The less expensive themes end up in the W Shop and Arte only keeps the nicest stuff. Took me a long while to finally buy all the rare pieces, although a few here and there were trades. Most just took a really long time, watching them come and go through the Curio and then waiting for it to come back again. I have to second (third?) the advice to keep playing games, check out the jobs and do all the other odds and ends WW offers to earn KC each day. Selling stuff you win that you really don't want helps, too. It really does add up!

I can give you one hint on the Star Challenge, to avoid getting pieces of the space suit just wait for the comets to go by. If you avoid clicking on it you can then just click on any of the constellations to try for a star.

I'm a bit confused by your post - the Rares are not any less expensive on Deluxe accounts and they are not sold in the estore - the only way to get an Egyptian couch is to save 9100KC.

I too wonder sometimes about whether Ganz forgets that their target market is kids - there is no way my kids would have the time to earn enough KC for those rares - particularly if they wanted a whole room theme.

If it wasn't for trading on WI we likely wouldn't have many rares at all! The only way my kids get rares is if I earn the $ and buy them for them - and that is a bit too much like real life!

jarrah i dont think ganz forgot that their target market is kids. i just dont think it bothers them that most of the site it too hard for them, and even most adults. if it bothered them theyd have changed most of this stuff to be easier long ago. its purposely made to be stingy and long-suffering.
