Make sure you put it in the LARGE room, with no doors or anything on the wall.

Yes, the problem is probably that you have a doorway on the wall that you are trying to place the Col. screen on.
simply buy a new room or find a large room with a wall with no doorway and Voila! you can start enjoying your new screen
