Found this thread and it is truly interesting. Thought I would test out the theory of better Blue Box contents near rare times. Do not know how much information you want it seems to vary depending on the person posting. Anyway, here are the results:

North American Account Adoption on Sunday, 16 August.
Rare due at 11:00 AM for Deluxe Accounts: Bejeweled Coffee Table
Adoption gift box and Blue Box opened in an Ancient Civilization decorated room with Griffin Rugs.


Adoption completed at 10:55 AM ~ Adoption Gift: Elephant Fountain.
Blue Box opened at 10:57 AM ~ Bonus Gift: Wild Safari Print Screen.

Received Chocolate Fountain and Elephant Fountain Exclusive.
Opened Blue Box----Received Egyptian TV..

It seems to really make a difference what room your in when you open the Blue Box..or maybe it's just my imagination!

I've found it hard to track for sure, since people are also opening before the rare, but feel free to use the info on the thread and crunch some numbers.... new theories are always welcome! I have to wonder about that too. We usually just open our adoption box and blue box in the room the pet appears in. We have a large stash of coins to show for it.

It must be said that I have opened a blue box right before a rare time before ~ never more than 10 minutes before the hour and sometimes during the actual sale hour. Always in whatever room the pet popped into.....normally our central bathroom....and our standard blue box gift had been the 1000 Kinz Coin. So many that we actually expect them.

This is the first time we actually made a conscious decision to move the pet to a different room. Since my AC room is all AC items plus some Griffin rugs and two PSI we decided to try there.

It was very pleasing to have the Wild Safari Screen be our gift! I will be choosing the room from now on to see if our luck continues.

I adopted Annabelle the Lil' yesterday and saved her Blue Box for the Mystic Eye Lamp today. Her room contains the Unicorn Bed, a Cherry Blossom Bird couch, a Valentine's Tubby Tummies bear, a gemstone table, and an egg rug.

I opened the box at exactly 4:00 and I received the Antique Lamp Post.

OK, friends, I was wondering if it makes a difference if boxes are opened before a deluxe rare when there is no regular rare. So, I opened my boxes in my Ancient Civilization room, and was so excited I didn't take a screen pic of the last one, but check out the last box I opened... I'm so PSYCHED!!!
