2:00 PM after adopting the LK Leopard

Blue Box contained the Egyptian coffee table...Great I needed that on my account! So she looked through my dock and picked somethings to trade for. She's so sweet (Most of the time )

So I thought I'd put on the LK Husky on my account to see what I'd get. Surprise! The Windmill Like I needed more of those! I don't remember the exact time but I think it was after 3:30 PM. I had to vaccuum and wash the floors first or the DW would know I did nothing other than take care of the kids and WW it.

Hey, Blue Boxers! Thanks for all your hard work and posting! I really appreciate it. You’ve gotten some REALLY GREAT rares! Just want to suggest that if you are willing, you might consider posting not only here, but on Peacock Noodle’s Blue Box Research II (SALE HOUR SURPRISE?) thread... I know she’s requested before, so I’m just putting in another plug... the more “data” we gather the better! (And if you're a regular "post"-er on Blue Box II... your info would be helpful here, too ) Here’s a link to that thread:

So here’s the most recent update:
We’ve reported opening 442 boxes so far. In general, there’s a 29.5% chance of opening a rare anytime you open a blue box. Of those 442, 183 have been opened in the last 30 minutes before a rare appearing in the Curio Shop, with 45 of those boxes yielding rares. This is a 24.5% chance of getting a rare in your blue box just before a rare in the CS... and yes that’s lower than your chance of opening anytime. In our control group, 259 boxes have been opened with 85 of those boxes yielding rares. This is almost a 33% percent chance (1/3 of the time, or 1 out of 3 boxes) of getting a rare when NOT opening before a rare item in the CS. But please note, there is a 76 box difference between our rare and control groups... if this gap could be closed we’d have a more reliable result.

So I have two requests... first, we could use some more “experimental boxes” if you can and are willing, it would help the numbers to have some more boxes opened before rares... and second, if you can and are willing, please post all blue boxes you open, that will help a great deal.

For those of you wondering about the Asian accounts results... we only added 10 boxes since my last post, and there was no significant change... sorry L.

Thanks again for all your hard work and posting... *real life* and the GE have kept me pretty busy, so I've had no time for opening blue boxes myself ... but I'm trying to keep up with you all and hopefully will have some exciting news of my own to share, soon!
