before i could never ever find the webkinz diamond then i found it once and the i found too more does that happen to anyone else? you cannot find something but then once you do you can't stop finding it?

That is a nice gem to keep finding Not sure if you see Doug in the clubhouse and trade him your gems for his gifts or not, but I know he is a big fan of those W diamonds.
Then of course there are the ones that you want to stop finding cause you have too many of (booger nuggets and selling them back to Arte for 3KC is so not worth it

That happens to me
I found 4 earth emeralds, (Thats the gem I had wanted), while by that time I was wanting an ocean sapphire... They're nice to keep finding, because they're 'rare' gems, but the sad thing is it took me longer to get a pearl egg than the emerald
