Time of Day For Gem Hunt

Has anyone noticed if there is a particular time of day that is good or not good for gem hunting, or is just ramdom?

I think it's just random, but I could be wrong. I search at all times of the day, and it never really looks to me like anything special happens at certain times of the day. That's a good question, though. I never thought of that before.

I wonder if in every hour the gems are in the same place for everyone...?
If that were tested true, we could figure ways of telling where certain gems are based on what others found.
Got me thinking now!

As for the time of day, it is random. Time of day does not matter.

Other things that don't matter to the gem hunt: tipping or buying anything from Arte, location of stone or sparkles, etc. Also the gems are not "hidden" behind specific rocks. Sparks, drips, have no significance except fun. As long as you are in the correct mine, that is all that matters.

I look in the same mine in the same hour in my 3 accounts. The stones aren't even in the same place, so the gems for sure aren't.
