Sparkles??

Has anyone noticed that in the mines, more of the "rocks" sparkle. I knew that one of the old tricks was to wait and see which ones didn't sparkle and then click them, because they had a higher chance to give out a gem. Now, though, every rock sparkles, and it's harder to get a gem?

Am I the only one this is happening to?

I seem to be getting slag more often than not lately. Maybe Doug's taking the gems directly from the mines now too.

Well, I've noticed that since Doug appeared (the beginning of all my gem woes) gems are a LOT harder to find...I think though, if you wait long enough all the gems will sparkle. Can't remember where, but someone, somewhere had a guide as to being able to tell what kind of gem it was by the way it sparkled (like where and the color)...

I'm thinking also, perhaps Arte's new bling might be messing things up as well...The sparkle from his new dentures may have a negative impact on the way the light refracts off the gems hidden in the rocks?

We are getting a lot of slag as well and finding the common gems the hardest to get. Yes they are more sparkly and now we click the ones with multiple sparkles LOL. Also have found if we go left to the end of the cave and click about the second in we are getting gems. Also we load the mine we want then come to WI or go and do something then come back and hunt, even though it is loaded on our computer??? this works and oh another spot we have got gems is when you first enter the mine just go to the left so a couple more show then try. Not sure if this is a pattern or just good luck but is working for us 90% of the time, I say that as we still do just get slag LOL

While sparks and location help to pass the time, it's really all random. Actually I've been getting lots of gems, usually the commonest, but a few nice offers on the rarest. Very little slag. On the other hand, I get nothing but sap glop in the Charm Forest.

But those TEETH! I'm having to wear my sunglasses in the Curio Shop.
