I have noticed his offers have been low lately. It's easy to imagine him saying "Sorry, I don't want this gem."!
You would think he would offer more now that Doug competes with him for gems.

I was offered 1 KC for a Goober Glitter. Like it's been said, it's because Doug's shown up, and it makes you think twice before trading.

I have had some high offers lately but also some very low offers too. I buy from Arte everyday but since adopting my 1st pet have only tipped him a handful of times. When I visit him I am one of his "favorite" customers so not sure if tipping actually helps with anything or not. Any thoughts?

My all time low was a jaded envy for 3K. But I agree with everyone else - he seems to be offering quite a bit less than he used to!

Personally I don't think it's because of Doug. I think Arte's just trying to save up enough money to pay the COD on that shipment of movie theater screens that he was supposed to get in a couple of months ago. I don't think he realized how much they cost when he placed an order for 10,000 of them and they've been sitting down at the post office ever since waiting for him to scrape up enough cash to pick them up!

my all time low for a gem is 2kc for a zingoz zincocs common gem a week ago.

I have been offered 5KC as my all time low. Rather my DD was and thinking that she really likes KC she sold it, lol

Yes, today I found a Red Ruby Heart for $45. In the past, I was offered from $335 to $390. I hope this is not the new trend. On the other hand, no one is going to want to sell gems any more, just trade with Doug. Chaz
