Marian - there is something seriously wrong with that excel file. I don't recommend that anyone download it (last time I saw something with that kind of coding was a bad, bad thing....) Sorry!

I am a computer Science Engineer and I haven't notice anything wrong in it.

Just for been more sure I will Over check again. But is if something wrong where to be with it, the anti virus would find it, or I have notice something.

I been using it for 3 months and Nothing have happened to me , at work and at home.

May be.. I have 2003 and there is no code in the Page.

Is just formulas,,

You write a Y in the place you have that Gem

And you have a sugestion of where to dig, to get the best chance to get the gems you need.

I did this And for shure I know IT has no virus what so ever

Marian - the Retired Value spreadsheet is the same (bad). I'm using Firefox but normally most files open right up for me. (Vista laptop with full Office software suite.) I do know that if the original file was an Office 97 file and it's not resaved to "Office 97 - 2003" file then Office 2007 won't be able to read it - too old.

I dont have office 97 so is original made in 2003

I think you are doing something wrong.

The spreadsheet work for more that 50 people as now.

if you see post 2 that is how the spreadsheet looks like....


I do use Firefox too ( is there another browser ) (the iE only use is to download FireFox)

do a save to disk.. and then try to open from there.

Hi Marion

I had no problem downloading it, I just had to enable Macros. Thank you so much for this document!! I have input my information and it will be so much easier looking for gems!!!
