Gem Hunt More Difficult??

Is it just me, or does it seem that not only is Arte not dishing out a large sum of money anymore, but it is also harder to find gems in the mine?!? In the past 4 days, I would say that I have found only ONE gem.

hmmm Yes, I have also noticed an increase in the number of days that I get no gem at all.
I think something changed since they added the Doug quest.

It seemss to go in cycles. today I found two level 1 gems on two accounts, but yeah, I did go through a period of slags. I beleive it's random.

I thought that too. It seems that since Doug came along, Arte is getting stingey with gems. Do you think that Arte doesnt' want Doug to have any gems, (Read the story in Webkinz World) so Arte is not offering us any and therefore will have none to trade Doug?

Oh I hope not, I like trading with Doug. I like the prizes he has been giving for a trade.

I wonder though, will we ever find out how many gems Doug actually has, and what is he going to do with them?

I wonder if all of this will lead to, perhaps, a new game with gems as the payoff instead of kinzcash? I guess we will just have to wait and see. Very Interesting!!!
