Well it depends on what you want. . . KC, the crown, or food that Doug gives you for your common gems (i havent gotten past that). Normally I see what Arte offers and if it's too low i keep the gem, but if i have a bunch, i sometimes sell it. The chances of seeing Doug are slim, so i go for the crown (it would be my 3rd, and im trying to get at least 3). So when I get a gem, most always I just forget about Doug (so far he's been a rip off but they are common gems).

I have been saving all of my gems since Doug showed up. I am first saving up for the crown of wonder though. I also trade with Doug every once in a while.

There is a great thread in the Clubhouse section for tracking Doug.

I have gardens to earn kinzcash so I don't usually mind passing up the cash, too much.

I always go for doug and try to get that fountain! After then go for the crown! (depending on how many crowns you have . . . )

If I get a nice gem like the Ruby Heart or the Webkinz Diamond, I have a hard time deciding whether to sell it for the big money...keep it in case Doug asks for it (and worry if I will get just 70KC in its place!), or .... do I really want the Crown of Wonder!!

It used to be so easy.... if you didnt have it, keep it for the Crown - if you already had it, sell to up your KC stash! .. and if your KC is really low and you get a good one, go for the big money, crown or not!!

Now.. enter Doug into the picture.... no guarantees!.. maybe even a swindle! ... but always the chance of getting some really cool stuff from that crafty little dog!

Now that Doug's here, i've created my own little strategy, i'll be happy to share it

Keep it if you need it

Just like old times:
Sell it if you don't

BUT the "sell it if you don't" is only when its 45 KC or above,

otherwise,

i keep it just in case,

in your case, i would stock up on everything, till you have 2 of each of the , you know, most likely ones Doug will want

, but, you can easily make your own strategy, but just remember,

If its a valuable gem, keep it, if not, then, its not as big of a deal

Also, remember, that the Crown Of Wonder goes for like 2,345 (i think, i don't usualy check on mine, it usually stays on my pets) so... HUGE PICTURE (crown) Medium picture (dough) Smaller picture (selling/KC)

if you need KC, then sell, keep those webbies alive!

nah.. no confuzzle....

.. I like your strategy .. and I guess it is basically the one I have been following really... but then I know that Doug can be a little underhanded, so I am not letting him have any of my gems again for a looooooonnnng time! .. I am going to save until I have so many, he wont find it so easy to swindle me!!!

It all depends on what you want

I already have a crown, and I love the Doug prizes, so I save up everything for him.

Of course, somedays you might need some KC, so you decide to sell.

Besides that, there is no indication that they are going to be taking away Doug or the crown anytime soon, so you can go at your own pace

Before Doug was in the picture, I saved my gems for three crowns of wonder. That was plenty for me, so I began selling my extra gems for the cash. Now, I'm back to saving them because I want the prizes from Doug! I have found that if you use the same pet each time to trade with Doug, you get better and better prizes each time. I am up to the last prize. Once I earn it, I will probably go back to selling my gems.

Personally, I think the crown is the nicest prize versus the prizes from Doug. In your shoes, I would probably save for a crown first, and in the meantime you will probably get lots of extra gems. Save them because after getting your crown, you could go for the prizes from Doug. Once you've collected the items from Doug, then you can begin selling your gems for kinzcash.

Just my thoughts!
