Decisions Decisions!! Do I sell my gems to Arte, do I keep them for the Crown ,or do I take my chances with dear ole Doug!!! What do you do?!

I am just not sure what I'm doing any more when I go to the mines!!!

If I get a nice gem like the Ruby Heart or the Webkinz Diamond, I have a hard time deciding whether to sell it for the big money...keep it in case Doug asks for it (and worry if I will get just 70KC in its place!), or .... do I really want the Crown of Wonder!!

It used to be so easy.... if you didnt have it, keep it for the Crown - if you already had it, sell to up your KC stash! .. and if your KC is really low and you get a good one, go for the big money, crown or not!!

Now.. enter Doug into the picture.... no guarantees!.. maybe even a swindle! ... but always the chance of getting some really cool stuff from that crafty little dog!

Before I always kept more than one of the gems unless my cash was really low and I hit the gem of the day. But I have enough crowns now and I don't need cash that much, so I save them for Doug. Right now I can't trade with him for a while because I am too low on uncommon and rare gems, and all I find is slag or something like another Goober Glitter.

There are so many opportunities now, it makes it so much more exciting... this is my plan

I save all stars in Star Search up to 5 apiece - any over that I sell unless the offer is just ridiculous

So I decided to treat the Gems in the mines the same way - so far Doug has only asked for 2 of the same Gem at the same time so each time I find a gem I keep it unless I have 5 or more of that gem no matter how tempting the offer is.

I can make KC in the arcade, I only get to search once a day for the stars or gems and here of late I seem to find so much more of the useless stuff. Good luck in your search, as they say good things come in time.

This is a great idea... but with all the gems that Doug managed to get from me, I'm a gem pauper! .. no problem... in a few years, I should have a least five of every gem in each of my six accounts!!! ....

I can't even find doug anymore so i am saving up to sell my second crown.

I look at the new feature that says how many i have. If i have 0, i keep it for the crown. if i have one or more, i save it for doug. i never sell my gems, unless i get a good one that i already have 10 of.

I have to admit I’ve been saving up my gems for that crafty ‘ole dog . I really like the prizes and already have my gem room is the process of decorating so I’m hooked on saving them for now. However, if a really huge KC amount comes up, I usually can't pass it up – so I can make sure to have enough KC on hand for all those rares.

I already have two crowns, so i am saving up my gems for Doug. I think the next time I go to him he will give me money, so I will wait until I have a huge amount of gems before I go to him again.
