Arte Level Reset to Beginning!

When I went to the Curio Shop today, Arte said 'Welcome to the Curio Shop. Hope you find what you're looking for.'

Yesterday, and for quite a while now, he's been saying 'Hey, welcome back! If you see something you like, let me know.'

Why has Arte forgotten me? Has it been too long since I've made a purchase from him, or is it a glitch?

It has happened to a number of people since the Doug feature was added.
If you clear your internet history and start from a fresh log in page, you should have it all back. Don't look in your Gem box, either I found that ALL my gems were gone and I was one away from the Crown of Wonder. After I cleared cache it all came back *whew*

Sounds like you haven't bought anything from Arte in awhile. Tip him $100 and buy something from him and then you should be back up a level. Arte likes money; no money in awhile he demotes you

Well, I have good news and bad news. I cleared my cache, and all my gems are still there. But Arte is still just welcoming me to the curio shop. Not a big deal, I guess, since I can always check here to see when the rare items are on sale. It was just weird that it happened. Wondered if Arte actually does demote people down his list if they don't shop for a while? I've been saving my kinzcash for the big movie screen, so I haven't bought anything in a while.
