This link has been the best for me to find the gems!!!!! It has a list like Justin made, BUT it also has a tiered picture of ALL the gems and what each of them look like! It is awesome and has helped me out a TON! You can print out the pictures and keep them handy when searching! Hope this helps!! http://www.freewebs.com/chickens_che...emhunttips.htm | | | 06-22-2007, 11:31 PM | #102 | Guest | Re: Where to find the gems in Gem Hunt!!! thanks for the great help! | | | | 06-23-2007, 01:16 AM | #103 | Guest | Re: Where to find the gems in Gem Hunt!!! Very helpful!! Have been looking for the Earth Emerald in the flea floater for quite awhile. It gets frustrating that you have to wait and can only dig once a day, but i suppose that is why everyone wants it. It is difficult to get. | | | | 06-23-2007, 09:26 PM | #104 | Stop Animal Abuse!!! I have a theory...
I was working on a method of tracking Gems in the mines and I think I may have discovered a few things: - Everything we know thus far about the mines is true. Each mine is home to one color and also includes second and third level gems from the other colors.
- There appear to be twenty slots, top and bottom, in each mine, forty spaces in all. You can tell where the spaces begin... Three or four spikes, on each side, top and bottom, in each mine, are sort of greyed out on either side of the twenty spaces.
- These slots are randomly populated each day, usually about 12-14 spaces are available to choose from in each mine.
- Each slot is specifically earmarked for either a gem stone, or for slag.
- If you locate a gem in a certain slot, when the slot is populated again, you will re-find that same gemstone there.
- If you locate slag in a certain slot, when the slot is populated again, you will re-find slag there.
- Every account has its own layout of gems and slag, so you need to locate each spot and identify the slag and gem spots in your own mine. Once you have identified the spaces in your mine, you can easily locate the necessary gems for additional crowns of wonder.
- I think there may be doubles of all the second and third level gems in each mine, although this theory is not nearly proven as of yet.
I have put this altogether in a new excel worksheet to help track the gems more efficiently, to help identify which slot is a gem or slag. It is still in early stages. It needs to be tested fully to prove my theories. I would gladly share. Message me if you would like a copy.
I think this may be why I would find a gem one day and slag the next in what I thought was the same spot. I was counting how many gems across to get to the same place, but really I should have been counting spaces. Each point is one space.
I would love your feedback! If you have any comments please do email me back. I can adjust the sheet accordingly for any new discoveries we might come across.
Thanks,
