Wowie guys, that seems like a lot of brain work. I guess here at WI it just comes down to what YOU enjoy. Some people like math or psych or figuring out how things work. I must be the statistical anomaly, then. I've gotten nothing but slag every day, except one, in the past 3 weeks!! How am I supposed to keep up with Doug at this rate???

Are the probabilities on the first page from Ganz or are they based on data collected?

I've been collecting my own data just to see what I've been doing. I've just started but so far it appears I have about a 50/50 chance of finding a gem on each try. Over all I have a 90% success rate with only a 10% failure rate. However, this is only based on 30 trips to the mines. Maybe I'm just getting lucky and I need a lot more trips until the probabilities even out.

I did gem hunt today to get back to all my gems to go hunt for doug again. When I looked at my box to see what I needed -- I was missing one blue gem, but something strange happened when I really looked it said click to trade at the top. One of my blue gems was taken by doug the last time, so i thought I had to replace it before hunting again so that I had all gems.

Did anyone else notice that when hunting for doug that if they had all the gems before he scoffed them up that the click to trade was in still in the gem box?
