Thanks for going over the basics of the WIki. I have started to look at it but was a little confused.

I also have several questions and am glad that I have found a place to ask them since it did not appear that the WIki was the place.

1. Why am I seeing ads in the WIki? One of the reasons that I became an insider insider was to get rid of the ads (of course I wanted to help support WI as well). Now much of the information that I like to use has been moved to the WIki and I am seeing ads (including a very unappealing photo right now of a man without a shirt!) when viewing the WIki.

2. I read about how to 'watch' a page in the basic explanation and that it is like a subscription. However, I have to go to the WIki to get to my watch list. I used my subscription list as a quick way to get to many of the important pieces of information on WI and it no longer works. For example, when tracking sales in the curio shop, I frequently popped over to the WIGEV to check out values of the CSOs by clicking on my subscription. Now in order to do this I have to get to the WIki first and then got to my watch list which is already a couple extra key strokes. I have not created a watch list yet so not sure how many strokes there are left once I get there. Another example is when checking the Kinzstyle Outlet tracking thread, I liked to pop over to the thread with the list of solved outfits and their ingredients to see if I wanted to stock up on a few of the sale item for making outfits. I see that the list of solved outfits is now in the WIki and thus more key strokes. Please help me figure out how to use these new things easily.

Great questions! I was just coming to ask how to turn off the ads too!

In addition, alot of the "boxes" appear to be covering over information. For example, the ads appear to be floating on top of the information and partially blocking it out.

1) I had forgotten to include code to block the ads for I^2 members and I will do so in the coming days. My mistake.

2) Unfortunately, vBulletin and Mediawiki are completely separate pieces of software. Although I have been able to partially integrate them using a bridge to auto-add the vBulletin accounts to Mediawiki, there is no way to cross-integrate vBulletin thread subscriptions with articles in the Wiki. The WIGEV link at the top of the page will take you directly to the table of contents for the WIGEV in the wiki (It's under "Webkinz Information Center" in the drop down menu)
