The Ultimate Guide on How to Make a Great Shop With HQ Graphics!

This is a guide made to help you create a succesful avvie/siggy shop!

Section 1--Getting Started
Ok first what you have to do before opening up your shop is deciding
whether or not you would like a business partner. If you choose to have
a Co-Owner or another graphic-maker you should first see what the can
do by asking them to show you 2-3 graphics they have made. Just remeber
though if you decide to have a shop partner you will have to share your all
of your customers with your partner so you may want to consider that.

After deciding whether or not you want a partner you have to pick out
a shop name. Your shop name can always be changed later on **** make
sure you pick out a good unique name for your shop to Start out with. Such
as Retro Glamour Designs you definatley do not want to do something like
Pretty Pictures because that is not an interesting name and it won't interest
People. If you need any help finding a name just ask me I have great ideas.

After that is all done it is time to create your thread! But before you make
your shop thread make sure to read these threads: Click/Click/Click/Click.

Section 2-- Making the Shop
After you have made your shop it is time to put up your examples and
forms. Make sure you put up an example for everything you can do otherwise
people won't want to order because they won't know what they're ordering! So
after you have made all your examples it's time to put them up. So go to
www.tinypic.com and upload your images! When you upload each image you
will see on the side there are a few differant codes copy the code that says for
forums and message boards. Then you center the text and paste the code.
I highly suggest that you put the forms under each example so the form for blobs
would go under the blob example! Make sure for each form you ask or as
much description as possible so the customer will get exactly what they wanted.
For each form I suggest you put something such as Other: so people can put other
things they want just in case you forgot to put something on the form! Oh and make
sure at the top of the page that you have a welcome to my shop sign! These signs
are a good idea because they're the first thing people will see when they enter
your shop. So make sure it is a good sign because you don't want a sign
that gives off the wrong impression. After you put up your sign I suggest you put
this under it: open/closed and then put your current status in all caps. After doing that
you can publish your page but imediatley after publishing your thread. Make a post
saying reserved and post that. It says reserved because you will later make it your
Pick-Up post. Or instead of posting on the Pick-Up post you can always post peoples
orders on their profile but that's your choice.

Section 3-- Making HQ Graphics
Ok now this section is more of a tutorial you could say. I am going to show you how
to make High Quality graphics. In order for your graphics to be high quality you must
use good images not blurry images. Here are some examples:

(As good as this image looks it really isn't)

Oh and when using two or more celeberity images always make sure they are from
the same photoshoot because otherwise the graphic won't look as proffessional.

About the Rob pic, it is bad quality - but it's actually pretty hard to tell, considering it's black & white - I'd suggest using an in-color picture, it might be a bit clearer to tell - like this one:
