How to unstick a stuck item on a table: A guide w/ picts

Ok.. so I failed miserably with this today.
My zingoz pop trophy was stuck, so I moved the pedestal and left. When I came back I tried to move it back, but when I clicked the pedestal my cocoa dino dissappeared- like just went invisible. I had to log out cuz I couldn't do anything. Weird

When I logged back in I finished the process and it did work- zingoz is back on his pedestal The first part was a little strange though.
