are you talking once you open paint, then paste. it should put it right there. remember to save it as jpeg, not bmp.

I have a dell keyboard and for me that key is above the INSERT right of F12 and diagonally up from BACKSPACE........hope this helped good luck!

my key says print screen sys rq it is on a dell
you know where the second set of numbers are all the way on the right it is above them

For Mac, you press command, shift and 3 or 4. Then look on your desktop and it will appear as picture 1, picture 2, etc. Depends on how many pictures you capture.
If you use command ( apple) shift and 3, it copies the entire page plus what's on your desktop
Ex.

If you use the command ( apple ) shift 4, it will give you a little target and you can highlight just what you want.
