I'm a learning Gifted Join Date: May 2009 Posts: 2,542 | [How to]Turn Videos into Images -- and PUT THEM ON WI IN 6 EASY steps w/ pictures. WARNING: Please do not post the full size image -- use the icon Have you ever wanted to post a short video on WI? Well, now you can! All you have to do is:
1) Record your video. The video shouldn't be longer than 8 seconds.
2) Open Windows Movie Maker, and add your file:
OPEN IT 
PRESS VIDEO AND FIND YOUR FILE  
THEN DRAG IT INTO THE TIME LINE 
2) Save your movie [IMG]file:///C:/Users/Anna/AppData/Local/Temp/moz-screenshot-5.png[/IMG] 3) Goto LunaPic Online Photo Editor and press upload and browse for your video file
Press upload 
Browse for your video file 
Press upload  4) Then wait while it uploads. This may take several minutes. Remember, no videos over 10 seconds should be uploaded because they don't work so well on WI for some people
5) When it's done uploading, copy it to TinyPic - Free Image Hosting, Photo Sharing & Video Hosting
Copy it's image location 
Goto TinyPic - Free Image Hosting, Photo Sharing & Video Hosting , and press 'From URL' [IMG]file:///C:/Users/Anna/AppData/Local/Temp/moz-screenshot-6.png[/IMG] Then press 'Upload Now!' 
Wait while it uploads. This may take a while. . .  5) Now you have 2 options. . . THIS OPTION IS NOT RECOMMENDED. PLEASE USE THE 5B OPTION IF YOU WANT TO POST IT ON WI. THIS IS ONLY TO SHOW YOU. PLEASE PLEASE USE THE 5B OPTION BELOW BECAUSE IT WORKS BETTER ON SLOW COMPUTERS.
5a) Copy the Forum & BBcode it gives you 
Then paste it into your post [IMG]file:///C:/Users/Anna/AppData/Local/Temp/moz-screenshot-7.png[/IMG] 5b) -This is the option for using it as avatars or signatures-
Right click the little icon thingy and copy it's image location 
Then press the little landscape and press 'Paste' on WI's post maker  
Then TADA! You image is in your post! If you want is as a signature or avatar pic, you might want to go to a signature shop, and ask the host to resize it. HERE IS MINE:
