OK help with Levels

ok i have heard people talking about levels and things. What are levels in the curio shop and how do you get them!? if so how do you build up levels?

When you see Arte he will greet you with a different saying for each of the different levels, here is a thread with the different sayings

To move up a level, Arte likes money. Tip him, buy things from the Curio Shop. Level 7 is the highest and he will tell you the times for sale and rares
