Default My status as a favorite customer?

With the new look of the Curio Shop, Arte is saying something different now. I am a deluxe member, so he says "Ah one of my special customers" instead of "ah one of my favorite customers" which is step 6 of 7 to being told when the rare comes in. Have I lost my status? Anyone know what the steps are now or if they have changed? I will not be a happy camper if all my tips and buying little things each day was all for nothing.
And yes, Arte's teeth are really bad!!!!

I agree with you. On Monday I finally got to level 5 and was happy he was saying something different and now because I am a deluxe member he is saying something else. I hope this does not change my status with Arte. I worked hard to get this far and now it seems it was for nothing because of the changes.

I was on level 7 before the change and am a deluxe member as well. Arte greats me with the new greeting for deluxe members and he still gives me info on when the rare items will be. If I were not at the highest level with the new changes in place, I would probably be very frustrated. I looked forward to hearing the greeting change each time I advanced to a new level with him. The way it seems now is if you are a deluxe member you won't know where you stand with Arte.

I have only been at level 7 for a few weeks...and I was away for a week so today is the first time I found out about the change in the CS...not only did I get the "new" greeting for deluxe members...when I clicked on the "ask about rares" button...I got "I've got something coming in in the evening!" - He didn't hold up the sign with the TIME...If I dropped down a level I'm gonna be mad.

All of the things posted here are right. But I don't think it really matters what your status is with Arte because you can just look at the rare information at WI. I do that, and it saves a lot of money from tips!

Arte does have a new generic saying for his Deluxe customers: "Well, if it isn't one of my extra special customers!" and he says this to me whether in Level 6 or 7. (I'm not sure about Levels 1-5 since I don't have those).

But he also continues to give you the old greeting, and he will give you sometimes the old greeting, sometimes the new Deluxe one:
Level 6: "Ah, one of my favourite customers. Let's see what I can do for you."
Level 7: "There you are, always great to see you. My shop is your shop."

Try an experiment, log in and out of WW and go to the Curio Shop a bunch of times. You'll see that he gives you either your original Level saying, or the new Deluxe one.

If you've just reached Level 7 and you don't buy anything right away, sometimes Arte will put you back on Level 6. Try buying something and give him a 100 kc tip, he should put you back on Level 7. Then you can stop tipping; as long as you do an occasional purchase, you'll stay on Level 7.

I am only on level 2. But i already know when rares are, so i don't mind.
