i'm on level 2 but i usually don't buy anything unless i haven't seen it in the w shop or if it's a good price
but i do tip him weekly

I AM ON LEVEL 6 AND HAVE BEEN FOR FOREVER....I TIP A HUNDRED DOLLARS A DAY AND MOST USUALLY TRY TO BUY SOMETHING VERY COUPLE DAYS SOMETIMES MORE THAN ONE ITEM IN ONE DAYS TIME.....GUESS ILL JUST KEEP TRYING....

I'm still on level 2 after being on Webkinz for about 5 months now. I didn't know about tipping at first, but have been for everything I buy the last couple of months or so. I only buy about once a week or so, though, so maybe that's why I haven't moved up. I have bought a couple of rare items, like the suit of armor and medieval windows.

I am a level 7 and yes! It is neccessary! It won't do anything but it would sweet of you to do it for Arte!

I'm on level 6 now! It's taken about 3 or 4 monthes, and I've tipped him 100kc everyday. I also buy something from his shop about 2 or 3 times a week! I'm soo happy!

Hi, Everyone!

I've only owned a Webkinz since July 7th -- and I'm now on Level 3. The strange thing is that because Merthyn "shares the rares" with us everyday, I figured it didn't make any difference to me whether Arte liked me or not -- or how he greeted me when I entered the Curio Shop -- so I've NEVER tipped Arte. What I have done is purchased numerous normal things AND several rares: two medieval torches, the hippo shaped suit of armor, two science stations, a thinking chair, 4 loader lounges, a treasure chest, a think tank, the science blackboard, the juke box, the screwy lamp, and the bowling alley (what a terrific WASTE of KC that thing is!) I don't know what all that adds up to -- but it's at least 30,000 KC -- and that's apparently enough to get promoted on Arte's preferred customer list. So, in my humble opinion, as long as Ganz is willing to leak insider information to us through Merthyn, you should just read Merthyn's post every morning and save your tip money for buying more stuff from Arte.
