Arte moved me up the list

Yesterday I became one of Arte's favorite customers. It really does work to tip him and buy things. I had been giving him $10 a few times a week and buying something a few times a week also. After reading all the tips here, I started giving him $25 a day and buying the cheapest thing he had each morning. I was thrilled when he told me yesterday I was a favorite. Patience won out!

It was about 2-3 weeks before he moved me up once I started giving him $25 a day and buying something daily, but I had been giving him $10 tips and buying things a couple days a week since about March.

When you've reached level 7 and you ask about sales or rares, he holds up signs telling you what time he'll have one.

I just got there tonight. It's such a nice surprise the first time that happens! Buying and tipping was worth it.
