Has anyone tryed to tip art and he says... Now that's kind, but I don't take charity. I bought something and tryed to tip and that is what he said so can you only tip him once a day or is it just a random thing he says.

Nope. He'll only let you tip him once a day. Otherwise he acts offended. Did you ever start to tip him and change your mind and close the tip jar? He'll say "hmph" lol

Thanks, I didn't know that and this is my first time tipping as to I did not know to tip. I have never clicked on the tip jar till today.

yeah..Arte's a little grumpy... dont take it personally.. but thats part of the reason we love him!

If you give him to much or too little, he makes a snide comment too! ..either what he said to you, or just a brusque "thank you"! lol

I found the best amount to tip him is approx 10% of the cost of the item you are buying (up to the highest $ you can at least! - if its a very expensive rare, you can still only tip him $100).

If you follow this rule of thumb, you should get more "Thank you and have a nice day!"s.. then you know he's pleased with you! LOL Before you know it, you'll go up a level!

Yeah, i have wondered that, Mystic. Especially the turtle on the vacation island.

Anyway in response to your question, the others are right. I try to tip him every day right before you go gem hunting. That usually gets you a higher price.
