Warning For Profile Pages..Suggestion.

All I can do is give rep. I have always thought this to myself, as I have friends with epilepsy, and it is great to hear others advocating for those who might feel limited or left out. The safer the better, really, and everyone is so kind here on WI. I would hate for some poor kid or mom suffering from such a great resource!

Thanks so much for this thread! I get very dizzy when I have to view certain profile pages, or avatars with lots of flashing or spinning. I actually have problems with nausea when I see some of them. I feel bad, because I know people spend a lot of time decorating their pages. I will usually go to someone's profile, and just be very ready to quickly turn of user customizations. I hate to do it, but I really have no choice.

Do you all know that you can remove flashy elements?
Go to User CP,
Edit your Options,
scroll down to Thread Display Options,
Visible Posts:
you can remove the check-mark to display Avatars, Signatures, and post Images.
Don't forget to Save.
