Using your own graphics!

Okay,sometimes I just like too look around Avvie & Siggy shops when I'm bored,seeing if I feel like ordering something. I've noticed a lot of shops with things from other sites,like Peachies Collection and things along those lines. Now,its fine if you use something from there or somewhere else in your avvie and siggy,but we have too keep in mind that the things that you offer in your shop are things that YOU made. If you read the Avvie and Siggy rules at the top of the shop section,it does say that the graphics at a shop have too be original (You have too make them) . I felt like making this because I've noticed many people getting away with this. Anyways,thanks for reading!

I can not stress this enough. Stealing Graphics has gotten out of hand,one of the many reasons I made this thread.

Totally! I mean, I made my siggy, so It's okay for me to show it as an example in my shop.
But Night Sky made my avvie, so it's just wrong to give it/use it as example when you didn't make it.

Yes, I agree. I make all of my on stuff (except when I order them or get avatars from avatar websites.)

Yes that is true. Some of the shop owners in the Avvie & Siggie forum have great computer skills, this is very admirable. They are also very creative. Others are less skilled at the computer and their offerings reflect this. It's to be hoped that they will learn new skills from their more advanced neighbours!

Stealing someone else's creation and passing it off as your own is an entirely different matter. That is plagiarism. I hope no one is doing this.

I agree with you. Some people only get buisness from using iconator avatars. Every single avatar I have had since last October has been completely made by me. I use Photo Shop for my Shop.

Yes,it is plagiarism. Also,if its copyrighted,you can get sued.

Thanks for commenting! Yeah,it bugs me too see a shop that says that everything is custom made and then you look in and all you see i stuff from Iconator. >.<
